Go for the kill tomorrow. Astros can win the season series tomorrow too, which is very important due to tiebreaker.

I can’t stand those guys ! They have to be the most negative commentators in baseball.

He is as good as there is

But we can’t run him into the dirt and expect him to keep performing

Prior to hiring Raymond, they hired John Rhadigan to be their PBP guy back in 2011. He was so utterly bad at the job that he was reassigned to the studio after 6 weeks.

It’s nice to see a couple calls go our way, IGAF at whose expense

Rhadigan was always a studio guy… he used to actually run some of the Astros/Rockets post-game shows when they were on FSSW (that was always based in Dallas).

But yes, he was awful as a PBP guy.

He’s basically been Dallas’ version of Kevin Eschenfelder (@Buck Turgidson)

No. It was Dave Raymond and Brett Dolan as a package on the air. Neither lasted long.

Yep, I remember how the Houston market was basically underserved by having the Dallas studio do some of the pre/post.

No I’m saying the Rangers hired Rhadigan do play by play and he last all of about 6 weeks before demotion. The Rangers totally deserve Dave Raymond. I don’t actually hate Nitkowski like I do Raymond, but he’s not that great either.

Clutch gene in these mofos is off the charts. It's been an absolute pleasure watching these guys ball out for the last 6-8 years and come up big in the highest pressure situations. On to tomorrow!
