I worked as a short order cook as a teen, and I can still make food fly so I also looked into it. Turns out your home insurance deeply frowns upon such ideas. Maybe there are wavers or really high end consumer stuff that works like commercial but that stopped me in my tracks.

I always sit at the bar at Waffle House to watch those guys work.

Related which you may enjoy...this is an in-depth explanation of the Waffle House marking system. A lot going on here...especially when dodging flying chairs.

I watch the Walt Twins cook on a griddle. I want a griddle, to go with my pellet grill. Then get a pizza oven. Then hire someone to cook.

    This is oddly fascinating.

Good to know I'm not the only one obsessed with this!

I'm just thankful I'm not obsessed with military ration taste tests on YouTube by the likes of Steve1989MREInfo, CrazyRussianHacker or JermsMRE.

I highly recommend a chef's table somewhere for your next "take the wife out" special occasion.

I too love watching a kitchen work.

Any truth to the rumor that your nickname around the campground is "Johnny Cakes"?

Were you a fan of the "Great Chefs" series on PBS/Discovery?

I am fascinated at the people who can do this, I would not be able to keep up and the spaces are always so dam tight. Kudos to the folks who do this for a living...................and that Waffle House video was awesome, I had no clue so much thought went into my eggs and grits order

I have a Blackstone. I don't use it all the time (on average 2-3 times a month). I do cook for large groups of people on occasion and it is great for cooking large quantities of burgers. I cook fried rice and Japanese hibachi, smash burgers and smash potatoes, and last night I cooked chicken fajita crunch wraps. It is also good if you want to make brunch. You can pretty much cook everything all at once making it pretty quick and easy.
