No comment on the cost, except it’s probably acceptable for the safety gained and extended use case (perhaps you could actually now use it indoors with a ‘vent’). I believe that mass adoption would also drive the cost down.

The last two times I used my portable generator were during the winter storm and a hurricane. In both cases, I had to protect it from snow or rain. It would be nice to use it indoors. I would definitely pay extra for that feature.

I've used generators for close to 40 years, probably use one now on average of 3-4 times a week to power battery chargers, tools, lights in the barn, and on weekends close to constant use at our hunting camp in the Adirondacks. Have never felt the need to run it indoors--when I ran it in the rain to power my workshop, I simply put a half sheet of plywood on sawhorses over it. Finally got the shop electrified though.

I appreciate the safety factor . . . but honestly, anyone who runs a generator in their garage without venting it properly either shouldn't be running a generator in the first place or else (insert your favorite Darwin Award snark here).

The sawhorses and plywood is a good idea. Not everyone readily has those though and it probably won't hold up to a windy storm. I read that some 30% of deaths from CO poisoning are from people running the generator in the garage with the garage door open, not realizing that CO will go through any open crack through your soffit and into your attic, spreading throughout your house quickly. I've seen people running it right under the walkway to their house to protect it from the elements, again not realizing CO can seep through small cracks that aren't sealed. Personally, I do run it under the narrow walkway, but still have to protect it from the sides, about 10' from the entry door. If I recall correctly, the recommendation is to run it 10-20' from the house. And of course, everyone should have a battery operated CO monitor in their home.

You do bring up a good point for farm, commercial, or non-residential usage. I'm fine with an exception for those uses.

Devon Archer to testify before Congress - will be JUICY

Lefties on the board - how do you defend why Burisma put Hunter Biden on their board? Was it for his expertise in natural gas? Or possibly for some other benefit such as influence?

Why do you think the CCP gave ivanka trump hundreds of millions of dollars in makeup and beauty contracts? ( https://www.forbes.com/sites/tommyb...hina-after-trump-was-elected/?sh=78404d401d60 ) ? You think the CCP couldn't have developed their own makeup? Hahahahah

The ukrianian paid hunter for the same reason the chinnese paid ivanka. They were trying to buy influence. The difference is hunter was a private citizen and there's zero evidence Joe used his influence to help hunter. Ivanka was a government employee making hundreds of millions of dollars in China but the trumpers always skip past this.

The guy who you mention who will testify has never said he's spoke to biden about business

Will you ever win a single argument or conspiracy @bigtexxx ?

amazing that Trump was impeached for asking Zelensky to look into the Burisma bribery issue with Biden, and now there is all this evidence coming out showing that very thing

I notice that your clapback in this thread has shifted to "whatabout trump". At this point, do you think that Joe and Hunter had conversations about Hunter's business dealings?

Jesus - he is even biased in his statements… haven’t seen this degree of impeachment inquiry since Richard Nixon….? Did he have some sort of head injury that caused him to forget about the last guy in office that was impeached twice and has multiple felony charges against him?

I get it - the Republicans want to impeach Biden because Trump was impeached twice… maybe the Republicans will find something (they haven’t yet) - but “Head Wound” McCarthy acting as if Donald Trump never existed isn’t going to work well.

The specifics of his business dealings? Maybe? I don’t know honestly. I haven’t seen any evidence of that though. So far, even when the New York Post or Fox has tried to break some large story about Biden and phone calls - it has turned out to be a misrepresentation.

If you look hard enough, maybe they find something.

The Trump impeachments were mainly Pelosi and co trying to make sure Trump never wins an election again. Trump was not suppose to win in 2016, no one gave him a chance and the table was set for Hillary. Trump winning disrupted everything, from day 1 Trump was hated and from day 1 Dems stopped at nothing to try and find grounds of impeachment. Trump never got to run the country with support from virtually anyone other than his conservative base. The media hated him, woke Hollywood hated him. Everyone loved Trump as a Democrat thou, everyone.

If they had the overwhelming evidence on Trump that they have on Biden Trump would have already been impeached 3 more times. Truthfully Trump was a good president despite the narrative and political persecution. Liberals will never accept it, they rather live with inflation and poor border control than to live with a good economy and secure borders under Trump.

Biden is an unpopular and corrupt disaster, I wish there was a middle ground candidate. I think Trump could have been that middle ground president, but the media and politicians pushed him all the way right. Trump a former democrat could have been much better than he was if given the chance. Now we have a divided country that will only continue to pull apart. Its almost to the point of no return. Too much bias from news outlets that spread propaganda over news, too much hysteria from social media on fake news about conservatives and Trump being racist. Half the country if not more have been woke washed. The country is not heading in a good direction under Biden and the country has no sings of uniting.

It's not a whataboutism it's just hilarious when you see how utterly full of **** MAGAt truly are. The grand conspiracies that these MAGATs spin @Salvy is that somehow Joe biden benefitted from his son working but somehow they have a blind eye to trump literally being bankrolled by the saudis right now. EVERYTHING THEY ACCUSE BIDEN OF IS LITERALLY WHAT TRUMP IS DOING RIGHT NOW

Joe bidens dream since he was a kid was to be POTUS. The idea that somehow biden would jeopardize his dream when he was closer than ever and take a bribe is so funny. Biden was planning to run for POTUS at this point.

This has been well documented and they were upfront about it at the time. Hunter Biden (love him or hate him) did actually have credentials given his experience with the Commerce department and as an equity firm partner. However it was primarily because it was to be seen in a more positive light since they were under some heat previously for corruption, and Joe Biden was viewed as a figure who was trying to clean up corruption.

Was it a smart move for Hunter Biden at the time and now… maybe not, but the motives were clear at that time from all sides. They did it to help their reputation. Hunter Biden did it because that was the business he was in and was just making money. I’m no fan of the equity partner schtick fyi. I couldn’t morally do that knowing I was simply buying a bunch of alike companies, meshing them together, laying off a bunch of people in the process, renaming, and reselling it. It’s a horrible job and I can see why Hunter developed an addiction problem just like many of the penny stock brokers etc. also do.

But if this is ultimately about JOE Biden then you really are making life hard on yourself. If you want to impeach him over his sons transgressions you’ll lose that fight. A father who still loves and is there for their prodigal son historically comes out looking like a good person in a story like this.

I assume you just aren’t a fan of the Bible then correct? Since you don’t believe in the concept of the Prodigal Son? If you have not read the Bible before i recommend it and this story in particular if you want context about a son who royally screws up in his fathers name, and then his father still takes him back and shows him fatherly love.

I see that y’all are still hunting for Hunter. There is a thread specifically for that. Good luck, and Godspeed on a winning issue.

Ramaswamy literally makes a “both sides” argument. Also he seems to have left out that Finland and Sweden decided to join NATO not after the fall of the USSR but after Russia invaded Ukraine.
