Good news their pitcher has 77 pitches thrown.

So we had 2 on with no outs and we got nothing. Still losing to the A’s. Cool.

Yordan is coming back and somebody has to go down and that's probably Madris. Madris ought to get to start a game before he goes down. When Yordan is back, he will likely be full-time DH and giving Abreu a partial day off as a DH isn't going to happen.

I just assumed Madris would start in left field today, but this makes a lot of sense to me.

I guess they wanted to give Abreu a DH day before Yordan comes back? Diaz is catching so...it's Kessinger or Madris at 1B.

    I dunno...just thinking through it a bit.

ETA: Hey! what ^^^ that guy said.

The next move is to sacrifice bunt with Bligh… or just pinch hit for him… because that’s how you have the most “options” for later in the game when you need runs (rather than just score the most runs outright with a regular lineup…)

this. Whether they actually do anything or not, these constant shut outs by less than mediocre pitching is inexcusable

This has been an incredibly frustrating last 13 innings. Considering Rangers just won their game, it makes these next 5 innings all the more vital. It's just asking too much of a mediocre Hunter Brown to continue the tightrope act he's done so far today. Bats have to ****ing SOMETHING with RISP.

Bregman has never homered 4 consecutive games. Still a chance today

Brown was allowing a .857 OPS wRISP before last inning. Worked out perfectly

Now score some runs. This game is stupid so far

Brown/Diaz’ cutting edge strategy… let the leadoff man reach so you can set up the DP…

Ok, so then Kessinger is at 2B. Which is more better?

I’ll take Kessinger ahead of Bligh… (in a Skeeters/space cowboys getaway game).
