That was an awesome scene at 1B...Julks is just beside himself wondering what the **** he has to do to get a hit tonight...Lopez is patting him on the back and talking to him on their way back to the dugout. I had one of those games back when, and I still sometimes think about it, unbelievable how frustrating that is.
Gained 1/2 a game today good job. They have been hanging around despite all the band-aid line-ups. Get the big sticks back and make a solid trade for quality pitching and we'll have a good of chance as anyone. Great game by JP.

Somewhat related but the last hardball league I played in was 1992 Oceanside CA. Played LF. I couldn’t buy a hit for a couple games, hitting it right at em. Smoked out before I got to the next Saturday game and went 4-5. THAT was the only time that worked. I tried it again and was horrible.
I'd go so far as to say he's saved our season so far. Without his performances, we might not even be talking playoffs right now.
JP looks like Greinke out there. His stuff looks pedestrian, but fools the crap out of batters. JP is a lot better than Fiers and much more likeable.
