    Brantley's contract means nothing.

    The team is not at the CBT and he's on the 60 day IL so not taking a roster spot.

    No reason at all paying Brantley hurts the Astros

    You edgelords keep edgelording, but if anyone is interested on some recent Brantley rumors, Blum and Balke had this to say on a July 18th podcast:

    Blum: "There's no confirmation on this, again, but I'm hearing that Brantley is much closer than we thought"

    Balke: "when I talked to a couple friends of mine in Dallas who have some friends within both organizations, they said 'you know, Brantley, don't write him off just yet.'"
