I looked yesterday and It’s a Small World (worlds lamest ride) had a 45 minute wait for stand by.

Yeah… I’d say Disney World is doing fine.

Also on the Sound of Freedom… if you look at the very limited amount of Hollywood films MAGA people say they support and you look at the percentage of Americans that are on the right… the overall number of Americans that should be viewing this film should actually be much higher. Given the amount of marketing and viral pressure campaign pushes to go see it from right wing activists, this isn’t a very impressive number.

Even given how I’m told on Facebook and in right wing media multiple times a day how this film is the most important film of all time, still only 1 in 7 Trump voters actually went to see it. If a Marvel movie “only” made 100 million at this point it would be viewed as a flop.

Disney World is going to be fine. Hollywood will surely be fine in the long run. It’s just a matter of them learning how to make films on a smaller budget which obviously can be done.

Congratulations I guess on tanking the stock of a beer company though. Beer being maybe the least favorite beverage of “wokeys” who when they drink beer usually opt for craft beer because we all know “wokeys” like to show how unique and special they are.

Naw. Purchase lighting lanes. It’s about 15 bucks a ride per person. You can ride all the major rides with no lines for a hundred bucks or so.

The issue is Disney can really only be enjoyed by people who it’s not a big deal to spend an extra couple hundred bucks. For the waitress at Dennys or whomever I can understand why they are not fans of Disney. But then again it speaks to supply and demand. If people are still going there they can charge whatever they want.

Maybe there will be more right wing leaning amusement parks like the Ark Encounter etc. that deliver true competition to Disney and Universal. Six Flags is apparently woke but more importantly their parks are disgusting and everything is usually shut down.

In a new article for The Points Guy, travel news writer Tarah Chieffi says that Disney parks are "far from a ghost town this summer," despite recent reports.

Chieffi spent the Fourth of July at Walt Disney World with her family and experienced typical holiday scenes at the theme park, including tightly-packed crowds for the fireworks show, and Magic Kingdom wait times that passed 60 minutes for popular attractions.

"And even before I even stepped through the gates that morning, theme park reservations for Magic Kingdom were sold out for the day," she writes.

Chieffi says it is true that some parts of the park were not as packed as she expected—like Hollywood Studios, which she notes was "noticeably less crowded" than what she is used to on a typical summer day.

"But an afternoon of not having to dodge as heavy of crowds as we expected while pushing a stroller through Hollywood Studios before returning to a quite-busy evening at Magic Kingdom does not a ghost town make," she notes. "While I'd personally enjoy a crowd-free summer at Disney World, that's not quite the case."

My wife has a childhood friend that lives like 20 minutes from there. He said that the beginning of July was slower than usual (slowest in last 7 years) but that was because it was hotter than usual and several of the rides were being worked on. Also, they did not have any amazing new attractions like in the past.

Still, no, it isn't a ghost town and apparently the numbers for the year are almost the same the last handful of years - they work in the corporate office for the 4 main theme parks.

D-land/world can be packed and the suits will still complain that they're losing money there.

Some shady airline sardine can strategery right there...

He's such a waste of taxpayer dollars. I really hope Karen Cruz gets voted out. What a waste of a Senator he is. He and his wasted time fighting his silly battles with Barbie and Bud Light, and tweeting his nonsense and promoting his stupid podcasts. He offers no real solutions to any of the problems Texans deal with. He's just a little Trump puppet, who will hopefully find himself entwined in the Jan 6th prosecutions.
