I remember the good old days when I was an enforcer.

When I was born the doc spanked me, I punched him so hard it knocked out two of his teeth.

Took 3 nurses to separate us. Security had to be called.

Doc wanted to press charges but it was a clear case of self defense.

I've said this before, but my second-best memory of Summer League games was sitting on the row behind Sam Mitchell (?) and Kevin McHale while they were talking trash about a player and the contract he was just handed. I believe the player was Evan Eschmeyer. Props to the dude, though. After making some bank in the NBA, he went back to school at Northwestern and became a lawyer.

EaR? This could be true - all teams back in the day had ears.
EnableR? Wasn't Charles Oakley just Jordan's enabler?
    EducatoR?
    EmployeR?
    EyeweaR?
    EvaluatoR?
    EnergizeR?
    ExpediteR?

...I'll tell you that back in the day sports writers weren't so ******* obtuse like they are today.

I agree, almost every 90s team had an EraseR. We have no one. Cleverly disguised Alpy is not a shot blocker thread.

And it's good that it's gone, if we're talking the physical enforcers who couldn't really play basketball at the NBA level, but were basically goons who were there because they could be physically intimidating.

starts with an E, ends with R..

    is it an E-nstigator......

I think it should end with S

EnforcerS -comes in different sizes, but this time with elite basketball skills -a team like this should be fun to watch..especially these days -full of softies:D

The fact is, many bball fans believe they would've been better GMs (than those struggling in positions) if they had been hired by certain franchises, i feel hesitant to applaud for their fantasies, say in dillon's case, so many RealGMs feel disgruntled to the deal, but it seems ain't anybody could be realistically to understand some logic behind the deal - we've been a bottom feeder in this league for three years during which our reputation ain't that good culture wise, whoever vets we sign he gotta engage in a 'start from scratch' experiment, n if unfortunately the experiment fall awkwardly he gonna be send away, that means he lost valuable 1-4yr on a bad experiment, a bad deal.
So, when we do believe our FO is f outta their mind, we can't say vets n their agents are the same, obviously they're not i.e. they wouldn't jump on board unless rockets could offer much more what they could grab from other teams!
Hold on, even all RealGMs could back in the reality to understand why this team have to pay (somebody) more than he's actual worth, below questions still await to be answered:
why it's fvv n db, ain't any better options available out there? they can't even shoot, why brought them here (we weren't 3pt shooting team past seasons)
I believe as for these, no one but Ime could answer, it's his team NOW, at the end of the day he is the chef to cook n present to us.
