Yeah they made him look short and out of place. I didn't notice how cameras and positioning can determine what light the public sees. Usually he's behind a webcam or sitting down. It did look like he bulked up compared to the Trump years but again, maybe it's the faux military look with facial hair.
If you are criticizing him for wearing a dark olive green shirt, reminds me of Tucker Carlson criticizing him for looking like a pimp. If his fashion sense in the biggest thing you have to criticize him about, remember his constituents are a bunch of hardbass-listening semechki eating gopnicks. They love that &%^#. He looks like an average Ukranian. He's been dressing like that since before he was elected. At least he didn't show up in an Adidas track suit.
Putin certainly helped but it was Biden’s diplomacy that got Turkey to allow for Finland and Sweden to join. Going back to the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine there was a lot of talk of whether NATO would hold together in support of Ukraine.
Trump wanted the US to leave NATO and will likely make that a campaign promise for 2024. There is that.
I enjoy listening to Prof. Kotlin's interviews. His points are well structured and easy to understand.
Will be interesting to see what happens with Crimea. It'll be tricky with the ethnic make up there. Will Ukraine partake in some ethnic cleansing? Forced migration based on ethnicity? Stay tuned.
