I do have a gripe about the framing of that article though, he didn't say "to spare Jews"

“We don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted or not but there are papers out there that show the racial or ethnic differential and impact,” Kennedy hedged.

Right before that he said genetic engineering is very advanced. Implying that it could be intentional. This guy is a very irresponsible dumb man with immense influence and privilege. If he wasn't a Kennedy he would be that local hobo underneath the overpass.

I think it makes sense to let people draw their own conclusions from the direct statement rather to insert one in the title of an article. I'm not saying it's an unfair conclusion to come to, but he didn't say "targeted to spare Jews".

This is the problem here. Are the people who are going to draw these conclusions going to do investigate journalism and have deep intellectual curiosity in finding the truth?

In fact all it takes for his supporters is the simple hear thr phrase "generic engineering has come a long way" with (paraphrasing) "genetic traits of Jews and Chinese make them less effected by Covid"


And now you have millions of people already determined it's a matter of fact there is a grand conspiracy by Jews and Chinese people to lower the population of white people and black people.

And the reason for this is these people already have been feed other "coincidences" about Jews and Chinese people their entire lives that they are just going to add one more conspiracy to the bucket list and will regurgitate every time they argue that Chinese people and Jews are trying to take over society.

He's intentionally leading his believers to that conclusion.

Oh, I've been purely talking about the journalist's decision to make the title way he did, mixing a direct quote to start the titled sentence, but then putting an opinionated interpretation to finish it. That bothers me, whether I agree with the interpretation or not, I said people should ideally read the direct quote and make their own conclusions instead of being fed one (in a deceiving manner "JFK says" and then the title is something he didn't say), and you seeming replied to that with

And my response is, what other way would you prefer to have it - than people drawing their own conclusions for the direct material at question?

So that's my understanding of this back and forth to this point

There is a conspiracy argument, but it lacks factual, coherent, or sensible support. He is excessively loose with limited data and uses it to formulate baseless conspiracy theories. While there are various research papers on COVID-19 showing different impacts on different people, the leap from there to suggesting targeted (even if not deliberated) actions is irrational. I believe he pursues it all for financial gain. But who knows. It is possible that his mind simply operates in that manner.


NOTE: I listened to the podcast you shared here, and I observed him making loosely looney tooney "evidence"-based connections with all kinds of things.
