    So just to clarify….

    1. A few weeks ago, you said that Porter was the best defensive player on the team..

    2. People that question Porter are “allegedly” fans.

    Ok gotcha.

    Nobody!
    Prove me wrong please.
It's not like you to just throw a question out there to deflect blame from your kid, DD.

There were many games he acted a fool, but that's wild. Couldn't believe they put him back in the game. Thankfully Udoka will not be putting up with that nonsense.

KPJ would not be that controversial of a subject if weren't for DD and Bobby, they both posts more than everyone combined so it seems like a highly debated topic.

KPJ's hype as a prospect died after his second season with us. Most just don't feel like he's that great of a player. He's been in the league for 4 years. players typically don't make huge strides after that. If Green and Jabari's 3rd season are also as underwhelming, they will also be relegated to KPJ.

I feel like those that hate him are in the minority. Now that Amen and Cam are drafted, KPJ is pretty much an afterthought. That's just the way the league is, if you don't impress, there's also the next big thing to replace you. If you listen to the media on Rockets promising young players, KPJ is just not even mentioned anymore.

    LMFAO.

Oh man I've repressed so many memories of KPJ but you just have to laugh at how pathetic he is.

Meanwhile DD: "ahctuallyyyy KPJ showed amazing leadership not wanting to leave the court and leave his teammates when they were down"

Hilarious that Silas couldn't even muster a word to KPJ during this whole episode. Truly pathetic 'head coach'.

Oh **** off, that is not what I said........at all - just said that others do the same **** and you haters don't say a thing about it.....

KPJ is arguably one if not the best player on the team, his ceiling is as high as anybodies....and his floor is already 19-6-6, as a combo PG with players who struggled to shoot.....now that he is going to be straight up SHOOT FIRST unlocked, and I am sure you guys will b**** about him shooting so much...but that will again be his job, we will see where he ends up.

The only reason I defend him so much is because people give far too much blame and negative attention to a guy just doing the job he was asked to do.

I don't condone him ALLEGEDLY missing practice or whining during the games, that ISH has to be cleaned up.

I just wish ALLEGED Rocket fans would support a guy trying to get his life right and doing all the right things - he is showing MARKED improvement and is a helluva basketball player on a dirt cheap contract.

Now I remember why I left this thread already once, so I don't have to listen to trolls.....who hate Rox players.

If everyone, including Porter, buy into whatever system Udoka implements, moves the ball and hustles on both ends, they'll all look better. Including Porter.

    They'll probably look much better.

While Silas is an aficionado of guard play, Ime is probably someone who is accustomed to focus on wings.

But do we actually know that? Or could be bc he had Tatum and Brown, so what else would he do with that team lol

normal passionate arguing between players about how to do better, caused by a desire to win

what KPJ did was totally different

No that’s bad body language and arguing with teammates, which he did all season. I remember he even gave up an open 3 bc he had his hands out complaining. I’m not saying KPJ hasn’t had body language, but he’s not the only one.

Reminds me of how Terrell Owens yelling at teammates was him being a cancer, while Tom Brady doing it was him being passionate. **** is crazy lol

KPJ will learn a lot this season if he is willing to learn from Udoka and change his game. Worth giving him a chance. I don't think he has a whole season to prove himself, if he's not performing well by the trade deadline I think we'll trade him for an upgrade.

Wait wait so one example now becomes the worst of everyone? LMAO Someone needs to try and explain to you what “most” means or even what numbers are. Last time I checked, Sengun never pissed off a coach so bad that a teammate had to hold off said coach.

I don’t have a dog in this fight. I do think there is a reason CLE gave KPJ away. Yes… we know all about his redemption and time here in HOU. What we don’t see is behind closed doors.

One school of thought for grading contribution can be summarized in a simple way. Again this is one way to look at it:
    Current performance: +1-5
    Potential: +1-5
    Drama factor: - 1-5

If you’re rating contributions to a team, very quickly, no matter how great his potential, his net worth may not be as great as someone who doesn’t have the same issues. We can post what we see from our evaluation but it’s not the same as personally evaluating the player from first hand experience and knowledge.

Really, if Ime is a good coach and his words matter, everyone is starting with a blank slate. It will now be up to the players.

That dude maj21 just keeps spewing false information. Just like other KPJ stans.

I dare anyone to find something worse than this. I’ve watched NBA for 20+ years. Never seen anything like this.

@ me you ****ing coward, trying to say **** about in hope I may not see it. I never said KPJ didn’t have those moments. Y’all Sengun butt buddies can’t admit his faults, it’s crazy! I hope y’all follow that bum when he gets traded in the near future
