They could've moved him to SS and Kessinger or Hensley to 2nd. Then again, Kessinger might throw it into LF if he tossed it to 2nd.

He’s got a sub 700 OPS…. He’s not an elite hitter. He is an elite defender. Missed him immensely on that last play.
This bullpen is an absolute joke right now. No lead is safe, and it's seemingly whack-a-mole as to who is going to **** it up. Pressly hasn't had one of these types of outings in a long time, and the extended break did him no favors, but it's still frustrating as **** that you can't feel secure being up 3 runs in the 9th.

Looked like he already had them. All day to make that throw and it wasn’t even close. Only one Abreu can perform at a time on this team. Are the missing Strom that much? Abreu was the best reliever in the majors the first two months. Now he’s giving up runs and almost hitting batters every outing. It has to be mechanics, right? For all my wanting Pena in the 2 hole, he demonstrated tonight why he cannot be there. What a disaster.

Pressly said after yesterday's game that he felt like crap despite striking out the side. He might not be right for a few games. That happens to any pitcher. The 9-3 lead should have meant that Neris, Abreu, and Pressly had the night off. Now tomorrow is going to a mess. Javier hasn't given you much length and you have a bullpen with several unavailable arms.

This team cannot make it any clearer that they need moves made - they need a trade or two. They need a bullpen arm that is solid and likely a starter. I find myself not even caring if Pena is hurt, he has not played very inspired at all. Maybe he needs 10 days off. Inexcusable loss - but that’s becoming something that happens every week now. Baker can screw around with line ups when he has a team that has all his horses - but this one doesn’t. There is no excuse at all for Diaz not being in the line up every damn day. Brown needs to go out there and get Barlowe from the Royals. I don’t understand why he wasn’t aggressive about getting Chapman - he can be a drunk, show up to games late like he did in NY - as long as he is there by the 7th inning to pitch. Really disappointing handling of this team all around so far. Get someone like Lance Lynn who has some upside and eats innings and won’t cost a lot in trade. Move Jake Meyers for good relievers … Chase Bellinger as the lefty bat…. And go to war…. The players have made it very clear, the status quo is not enough.
