    So maybe putting your worst hitter 6th in the lineup, then leaving one of your best hitters on the bench when you inevitably have to pinch hit, was a bad idea?

    Players like Madris and Hensley have no business on an mlb roster so not shocking they failed tonight. Sigh. Should have at least 10 runs. Just get the win.

    I am sure Dusty was thinking that Yanier hits into lots of double plays so he didn’t want to use him there. But Hensley strikes out looking about 40% of the time!

    The article was printed on June 6. On June 7 Diaz caught while Blanco, a rookie, started. And later in June he again caught Blanco and subsequently France. So while Baker said he would rather not do it. He does do it.
