I am asking which american company is getting the short end by the boycott? Bud lite isnt owned by an American company. They employ a bunch of americans but their shareholders are hoping for a Belgium company to prosper.

 

Budlight is still owned by Anheuser-Busch, which operates tons of breweries in the US. Yes In-Bev benefits, but you can't deny that Budlight is still an American brand made in the USA and part of Americana, where Modelo is a Mexican beer even if the distribution rights in the US belongs to a US company. The majority of the revenue created by Budlight sales stays in the US.

 

Well good luck to Budlight and Americana. I will buy some Anheiser Busch whiskey after I google which one they produce.
