No one cares about trajectory but people making excuses for Jalen.

We all know he's younger with higher upside. He also has done less and showed little improvement from his rookie year.

Jalen is greater risk and greater reward but you can't just assume he's likely going to be a star. More guys stall and fail at his stage then go onto success.

He has to go out and earn his minutes for the first time since probably high school....

Never said otherwise but his results were better. That buys you some grace... same reason Ja isn't out of the league... he's been productive...

Yes you're affecting my brain. Is that not how brains work? So I respond with logic. That's what a brain is for. Common sense maybe. I'm not judging a kid based on two years. He's not a head case. Hasn't put himself above the team. He'll get better. Way better under the new staff and system. No doubt here.

You're obviously not a Green fan. That's your opinion and your right. Leave it at that. The more you blast the more you look... o_O

Next I'll be wondering if you're 12 years old.

    Move along.

This past season was the last season for the mindless KPJ simps. His head honcho shtick died and the Rockets replaced him at PG. If KPJ wasn't such a turd with negative overall value the Rockets would have likely moved him out in a trade.

We should all care about trajectory for all of our players as Rockets fans. We are in a rebuild so there's not point to being shortsighted and rushing to judgment after two years. KPJ didn't show much improvement in his first two years here, but showed tangible improvement in his 4th year.

Let's see what everyone looks like under a better coach first and foremost. We're not missing out on a championship year by giving young players a bit more time to develop.

Ja is a superstar. KPJ is a scrap heap acquisition turned failed experiment at PG.

The first hint that the Rockets aren't completely sold on KPJ would be the non-guaranteed contract. KPJ's agent had to choke down a **** sandwich because his client's behavior drowns out his abilities on the court. Garbage stats on a garbage team are garbage. A PG who won't pass the ball will score some points. The only team deceiving itself regarding KPJ is team Head Honcho.

I never said they were equally talented.

Why do you feel the need to pick fights with people who don't exist?

If what you are saying was true, he would have no extension and would not be in the nba.

In my ideal scenario, we keep both and they both get better together. I place all the blame on Silas.

Trajectory isn't based on anything more than age and hope.

    It's not grounded in reality.

    Jalen SHOULD have improved ts%, reb%, steal%, blk%, and assist%...

He didn't except for assist% increased modestly.

That doesn't mean he can't get better in year 3 or 4. All players advance at different rates.

Just saying to assume he will is not smart when most don't become stars...even top 5 picks...

How you think he will play 2 years from now doesn't help his play now.

I don't disagree except I put blame on them too. They lack maturity and basketball character.

A new coach helps with that but great players are self motivated.

This isn't hard. Green and Porter fight for the job, best man wins. Green's only fans subscribers can't argue against that because they claim he's better than KPJ anyways.

If a year from now they haven't gotten better, it's time to move on.

    A couple things
    • 2 additional years of working with professional strength and conditioning trainers as well as being close to vets is a huge advantage
    • It was KPJ's own fault that he didn't play nearly as many games as he could with his own antics on and off the court

That was the Rockets way of telling KPJ to get his **** together or he is gone with no negative impact to the team. It was a last chance offer.

Hey T. Go look at all my posts. I'm by no means an only fan of any dude on the roster. You can spit your ish constantly on everything but facts are facts. You two can carry on trying to twist what I'm saying to fit y'all's narrative, but I said from the get I was comparing 2 yr Green to 3 yr Porter. Twist it all you want. A 2 yr guy should not be expected to be better than a 4 yr dude. Unless that 4 yr dude sux completely. Does your boy suck?

    Talk about fan boy.

Keep in mind the KPJ stan math rules

    2 years = 4 years
    146 games = 196 games
    21 months = 1 year
