Same one, but this time he is nice about the Astros. So it is good to see he has become a genius - bette late than never. Good for him!
Yeah Baker shut him down. Is he going to be upset about that? I don't think he even bothered going to Seattle. Didn't see any pics posted by the social media team(had Tucker, Alvarez, and Baker).
From The Chron.....this is what Baker said "We can’t risk Framber on two or three days’ rest for an exhibition game,” Baker said in Houston before the Astros played Seattle on Sunday. "I know it’s important, but our season is far more important than the All-Star Game. It’s an honor to maybe start, but if he’s pitching on the route he’s in, he’ll have three or four opportunities to start in the future. So right now we got to take care of Framber.” “He’s probably not happy with it,” Baker said. “But sometimes you’ve got to make tough decisions for the player and the team. He’s just coming off of an injury. If something happened to him again, I couldn’t live with myself.” What's funny is he was going to shutdown Cole as well because he was on short rest but Cole wanted to start so he's like OK, be my guest lol. OK he didn't say it like that but he did say something like hey it's Cole. If he wants to pitch, he deserves it.
I know someone pretty close to Bregman. He said to me a couple months ago that Bregman had mentioned that parenthood was kicking his ass.
Never any place to mention race. Period. The only reason you do is to differentiate him from someone else by his race. That's racism whether you have any negative intention or not. Bringing up someone's race in a discussion about baseball is unacceptable and unnecessary.
