It's not my view.. Its a given that it won't be the case . It's more of a common sense point of view.. I don't think Udoke came here to see Sengun and Bari lead the team in shots, whether they're efficient or not.. You win with scoring from the backcourt in today's NBA.. You have your rarities like Joker and Giannis , but even then you need dynamic scoring from your 2 guard ... Dont know if Sengun and Jalen/KPJ/or whoever can become that.. Strongly doubt it but its possible. Now that one can be analyzed as my view..

Could have played more TyTy for the same result and maybe, just maybe, they would find the future backup PG and not have to attach assets to dump him.

No, we had a late 1 and used Gordon to make it less late.

We dumped players for nothing we used picks on...

So for every Whitmore there's TyTy, Garuba, and Christopher...

Not saying there isn't value, just saying what would we do with another young guy on the bench?

Yeah I don't disagree with any of this. I just remember the Ime quotes and I'm pretty sure Bobby has called him a liar before, referencing this. I don't think anyone would argue with FVV starting, I think it's mostly about Brooks.

Personally, my expectation (and later hope) is Brooks starts and Tari gets better and better. Brooks inspires and lights fire and in 2 years we either ship him off as Tari or Cam is ready to step in, or he comes off the bench. I’m not sold on him, but I’m hoping he brings what I assume we brought him here for — which is simply to be the on-court ******* that is relentless in terms of energy and hustle. Not expecting much more than a couple corner threes on offense and maybe some easy layups courtesy of Sengun.

We don't have a 2 guard with dynamic scoring...

We have one people hope will be...

2 guards of last 10 nba champions:

    Kentavious Caldwell Pope
    Jordan Poole
    Donte Divincenzo
    Danny Green
    Danny Green
    Klay Thompson
    Klay Thompson
    JR Smith
    Klay Thompson
    Danny Green

    You were saying what again?

Notice all but 2 are considered plus defenders?

The Rockets went out and got 2 players to replace him because KPJ stunk so much on the court. What happens off the court matters too. Negative locker room guys drag teams down. KPJ's court game is suited as a scorer off the bench. Problem is that his mental game won't handle coming off the bench. See reaction to feeling slighted because his locker was moved.....

That's a strange comment since right now, Jalen is a discount Lou Williams....

They played him out of position.

Notice they didn't try to get Jalen to be point? Are you saying they don't think Jalen has the ability?

    .
Go watch the video of KPJ sulking on the court a few pages back. There's no position on the court where that is acceptable. Walking out on your team at halftime isn't acceptable in rec league.

Jalen isn't a point that's why he didnt play there. KPJ was a bargain basement failed experiment at PG that for some reason some folks became enamored with.

We don’t know if Jalen has the ability. But we do know for sure KPJ doesn’t.

Green's numbers after year two are better than Porter's 2nd year and though a tiny bit worse on DPM than Porter's 3rd year he had better offensive numbers. His WS were better in yr 2 than Porter's yr 3 across the board. At just 21, he's only going to get better now that he's got the coaching staff and system in place that is not designed to tank. Already on several lists of achievements at his age. Right there with many greats.

    He's not going anywhere.

Yet another one. And so it goes. The 99%er. Clutch should create a t-shirt for the biggest know it all troll on the board that does nothing but $hit on the team and the fellow board members that support the team. The definition of a narcissist is ...?

Correct, but it was an experiment because they thought he might be able to.

He outperformed Green across almost all metrics. He should as he is older.

Right now Green has to improve to be as good as Porter. He may very well, but there are no guarantees. Normally players improve in most stats in their second year, Jalen really only improved in shot quantity...

My preference would be to move both of them but it depends what's out there.

The best thing you can do is put him on ignore.

Why are you comparing Green to Porter as if they are supposed to track identically in development?

Also, KPJ missed a lot of time from injuries which affects WS.

KPJ had DOUBLE the win shares of Jalen per 48 minutes.

So congrats, your point comes down to Jalen didn't get hurt and he shot a bunch...

Hell no. I get a kick out of the caricature. He's so high on himself that the hits keep on coming.

    Jalens's played 2 seasons not 4.

    Do THAT math.

"At just 21, he's only going to get better now that he's got the coaching staff and system in place that is not designed to tank."

That is an assumption. Look at Dajuan Wagner age 20 to 21. 6th overall pick at same age as Jalen.

    Not all players get better.

But thank you for recognizing he needs to.
