KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

Take your victory lap! You deserve it! All of you who trashed KPJ, but wanted to keep that 6th man BS in you back pocket as an out. I mean he was supposed to be traded by now! This season is going to be so much fun I cant wait.

 

Is "Maybe Udoka can get through to him" met with the same negative as the "6th man" narrative? You realize most people's problem with that dude was self generated on his part? Never been a question about his skill, only his mental. I imagine he'll have a good year. In what role? Who knows.

 

Thats not the point. Its almost like the politicians who argue against a bill, but when it gets passed they say they supported it all along! The personal stuff is fine that is your right to hold whatever you want against people for as long as you want.

Everyone who enjoyed knocking him down and swore he would be a perfect 6th man would appear to be right (unless Udoka trots him out as the starting SF upon which I'd assume there would still continue to be backlash). Seems like the enjoyment factor doubles when you can say "I told you so" and get to point and laugh at the guys who rode with him and hoped he would be the kind of player to lead a franchise through the ups and downs - it would appear he's not built like that so enjoy the moment you guys deserve it.

 

What do you mean by "personal stuff"? Are you referring to on and off court antics? Man there's obvious reasons why the majority, even outside of Houston, has a negative perception of him. It's a real thing. Sure you know.

If fans have an issue due to his actions that's warranted. Many, including myself, bought on last year and wanted the extension. Unfortunately nothing changed.

Will things change under Udoka now that he'll be off the ball? We'll see.
