Counterpoint, he could be 5'10" and fluffing up his height, a common tactic amongst dudes of that height.
I have no idea why anyone would get caught up in his height. All these people would have done the same thing with Dream who was never a true 7 footer back in the 80's if we had the internet back then. I think some of them would rather have an inferior player if they were a true 7 footer rather than a player somewhere between 6'9" to 6'11" who has superstar potential. It makes no sense to me.
He steals, he finishes, he shoulda been awarded an and1 and instead he gets a tech? Bullshit. Edit: Wrong thread.
I have it on good authority that Sengun was wearing extra thick socks and the 5'11 guy is actually closer to 5'9 but lied to his wife years ago and now has to keep up the charade for his entire life. Therefore based on this picture I can confirm that Sengun is only 6'8.
Keep on keeping on with Sengünball. Jabari is the true Summer League player. Outgrew franchise player.
Never hurts two have multiple franchise players. I am not sure what you mean, but I would be just as happy if sengun is a role player if that's the role he can elevate to, as long as it is a great team that I enjoy watching. I started watching rockets for Sengun, but from that point on I want to watch good basketball, improving players, and eventually a team that has a shot at winning it.
"Franchise player" is a sick consept. You need 5 very good players+ 4 good bench players to become champion. Rockets have JGreen/Sengun/Bari/Tari/'23' pick(Amen) and Cam and may be KPJ. Needs 2-3 more players to replace FVV+DBrooks+... to become champion in 2026 and afterwards. JGreen,Sengun,Bari,Tari are all "core players". F... "the guy/franchise player/Cornerstone,..." mentality. Basketball is not tennis, wrestling, fencing, boxing, it is a team sport.
