Why would Detroit trade their top 5 pick before the season even starts? I don't think that's even possible. Also your trade makes zero sense from Detroit. We also cant take bad contracts we are capped out already.
Detroit has zero motivation to make that deal. If they wanted Whitmore, they would have drafted him. KPJ doesn't have enough value to make up the difference. Eason seems more realistic, but I still don't see Detroit biting. This is a nice idea, but there's almost zero chance this deal happens, and certainly not right after the draft.
The problem with this idea is that Silas is not Detroit's head coach and they have a functional GM who doesn't have a frat bro attached to their hip.

My first thought was Green not Porter thus the title of the tread. I think that was a bit much though. With Porter starting this year.
