I guess Stone saying he wants to treat the players fair and do right for them also came as a package deal with the other GMs when it comes to negotiating trades since most on here claims he has gotten fleeced on majority of them Those GMs are looking at Stone as Free Willy, they're whale over the kid
He just did that already with a comical 4 year guaranteed deal for a trash dump brooks and gave up assets to dump his own recent 1st rounders hahaha. Hes been the laughing stock.credit to him for making folks laugh embarrassingly
Terrible asset management? Lol. There may not be a team in the nba with more young assets & cap flexibility than the Houston Rockets. That's what attracted Udoka & what enticed FV to come here. 60 million in cap space & the #2,3&4 picks didn't happen by accident. Stone CLEARLY won the Harden trade and is reaping the benefits as we speak How? We're better in year 3 under Stone than Presti was in OKC. Plus how well did Presti negotiate giving us Sengun? Didn't he hand us James Harden for Kevin Martin? Not sure Stone's done anything THAT egregious
Laughing stock that made one of the most highly coveted young coaches firmly choose us over everybody? You're actually the laughing stock for wanting Harden back in Houston. Literally NOBODY wants that guy but your dumb azz lol
Stone has been really Solid so far..I'm not complaining...Brooks is exactly what the coach wants, a dog that can defend. Say what you want about the contract, but in a couple years thats gonna look like a steal
Omg. Stop the press! We have a Championship crowned already. Even before he does anything with this team that matters. Typical stupid cf’s logic
The Harden trade certainly mattered. Clearing 60 million in cap space mattered, accumulating young talent, hiring a great young coach mattered..No?
Lol. Says the guy with several special need takes. Stone's fine, aslong as he's not taking any of your dumb azz advice
You have this strange impression that you actually think you matter. As if you’re saying anything that changes a damn thing. I could give two shitts what you have to say. You’re just a Special needs follower starving for attention with a “dumb azz” thread
It will never be a steal, you guys do not know much about businesses. But it could be a win win for both the player and the team at the very least. The mini goals that both sides would have wanted to achieve.
The white knighting for stone is insane. Only folks delusional enough will say overpaying brooks rn is a steal in the long run. A playoff caliber team dropped him like a bag of bricks and we have folks thinking stone is slick for that sht contract. A big worry is that our youngsters will outplay him and he will b moved to the bench. It's good situation to have but cheap a$$ tilman might jettison another sht contract with first round picks again
