    It's kneejerking at it's finest, but I don't care...Amen is the real deal!

    He moves so effortlessly...He's calm and slow, then he suddenly explodes and goes either at the rim or passes to the corners. And on defense he's playing smart, picking his spots to be aggressive and is disruptive.

    Great great half from him!

    my overreaction so far:

    amen A+ not much to say, he's a stud.
    jabari C- he just doesn't seem to improve...
    cam C tunnel vision, freakish athleticism. definitely can see the potential, but i can also see why he fell that much.
    tari A- we all know he's good.

    I think we should focus more on the positives than the negatives in the summer league but thats just me.

    Maybe if he looks bad in pre season then we should be really concerned

    Rockets look a lot like last yrs team.....constantly driving to the basket and giving up 3's.... exchanging 2's for 3's does not elate to winning.

    Im not worried about the starting 5, the 2nd unit of; Tate, Thompson, Jabari, Tari and Landale scare me. Theres little to no 3point shooting

    Whitemore looks like he projects to a plus defender as well. REALLY quick laterally. Hard nor to love our draft choices as of today.

    I think Josh's tunnel vision was way worse. He's the point guard. Cam is playing like you hired a seeing eye dog with no eyes. Josh was like you hired a seeing eye dog with no head.

    One thing about Cam I did like is the man pushes the ball, so you better run with him. Hopefully he learns to pass as he pushes it. lol.

    Scoot looked great but I thought Amen held his own. However, the lack of in between game for Amen is going to be a problem down the road. He needs to work on his floaters and pull up.

    Jabari will look bad if you ask him to have the ball dumped to him and self create. That isn't his game. If he's asked to be a switchable defender who can knock down shots created by guys like Sengun, FVV and Green, he should be fine.

    Tari is a more gifted self creator. He has somewhat of a handle. But that trait is less useful on a team with Green, Sengun, FVV and KPJ, all better self creators.
