I am really excited to see Amen and Cam - also to see, if Jabari and Tari can dominate a little after having played a full season. I really hope Jabari shoots around 40% on threes this time. But I am also really intrigued by Jay Huff. A guy that won defensive player of the year in the G-League and seemingly has always shot somewhere between 36-40% on threes that is 7'1? Sound like a Brook Lopez lite. I have never seen him play, maybe he is lost on the court or something. But he sounds like the kind of guy you give a two way contract and hope, that he can be you third string center or even backup center.
this might be the most hype i've been for a summer league game... it's too bad we traded Ttyty and Garuba because that could have been the most stacked Summer league roster i've seen. (obviously biased)
If you're going to be in Vegas, do yourself a favor and check out the sphere that debuted on the 4th. It's the sickest thing I've ever seen in my life... That’s not the Top Golf I know off the strip. Must be another one somewhere.
I wish I planned out a trip to Vegas this weekend. Flights weren't even that expensive from LA to Vegas Summer League and a massive UFC 290 card in Vegas on Saturday.
It looks like there aren’t any tickets for shows available till the fall. Can you just walk into the sphere from the Venetian?
I don't know if it's technically even open yet, but they've been lighting it up where you can see it from the outside and it's freaking amazing. They just did it for the first time a few days ago.
It's at 6pm Central/7pm Eastern. You posted that around 10:00am Central, so yes - 8 hours from that time.
Isn't he playing because he has been bad? Ok, let me rephrase it. No toilet water tier 3rd year player plays in SL.
He has been a bottom 10 player in the association the past two years. The summer league favors the AAU type of play, so it should be interesting how the Rockets young guns look out there.
A Houston Rockets game?! At this time of year, at this time of day, televised in this part of the country, in prime time on ESPN from Las Vegas?! Spoiler
That sphere is cool! I remember thinking that the planetarium at the science museum was pretty bad ass back in the day - those Pink Floyd shows! How far we've come wow.
