They have tight security but they aren't worried about drugs.

I went to the White House complex for a meeting (there are actually office buildings within the gates) and it takes about an hour to get through security - they run all sorts of checks on you, not to mention the search. But again, I doubt they care about drugs.

Not his laptop cocaine. Russian disinformation!
Maybe it could have been his but did you know Obama dabbled with coke too?
    It was Kamala’s cocaine!
The most secure building with 247 surveillance, we’ll just never know who’s cocaine it was!

Multiple officials involved in the White House cocaine inquiry now say the bag of powder was found in a cubby near the White House's West Executive entrance, not the formal West Wing lobby as was previously reported.

Investigators expect to be done with the investigation by Monday, according to two sources familiar with the investigation. The inquiry was previously expected to take a couple of weeks.

In updating the location of where the cocaine was found, officials said that area was also heavily trafficked.

The cocaine was found in an entrance area between the foyer and a lower-level lobby, the sources said. The entrance is near where some vehicles, like the vice president’s limo or SUV park. It is one floor below the main West Wing offices and the same floor as the Situation Room and a dining area.

Forensic work on the cocaine bag continued on Thursday, though officials are setting low expectations that they will be able to identify the person who left the cocaine.

Bookies bet Hunter Biden is the culprit behind White House cocaine

As rumors and accusations swirl about the possible culprit responsible for misplacing a baggie of cocaine found in the White House on Sunday, bookies and sportsbooks have placed their bets on the first son and recovering drug addict, Hunter Biden.

BetOnline gave the first son +170 odds that he was the one enjoying a spot of nose candy in the West Wing, beating out a tall list of generally silly longshot candidates such as Angelina Jolie (+1400), “One of the Jonas Brothers” (+1000), Snoop Dogg (+1600), and Elton John (+1600), among others.

President Joe Biden was considered the dark horse of BetOnline’s culprits at +15000 odds, with first lady Jill Biden ranking slightly higher at +10000.

Sportsbetting.ag had a similar list and lines as BetOnline, placing Hunter as the prevailing favorite.

However, a sportsbook out of Costa Rica called Bovada gave a “Tour Group Guest” their favorite odds at -400. But Hunter still rode high in second place with +200 odds, according to Fox News.

Bovada’s list carried a few somewhat more probable culprits including “Janitorial Staff” tailing Hunter at +1000, “Secret Service Special Agent” with +2000, and “White House Librarian” at +3000. They also include absurdities such as “President’s Bag Man,” Angelina Jolie (+3000) again, and Tony Montana, the cocaine-loving main character from “Scarface” (+50000).

Despite bookies’ optimistic odds in favor of Hunter, officials recently said it’s unlikely the culprit will ever be identified.

“It’s gonna be very difficult for us to do that because of where it was,” an official close to the investigation told Politico on Wednesday. “Even if there were surveillance cameras, unless you were waving it around, it may not have been caught.”

“It’s a bit of a thoroughfare,” the person added. “People walk by there all the time.”

Initial reports from Sunday night said the white powder was found in the White House library on the ground level of the executive mansion, which prompted a full-building evacuation while hazmat units were called in.

Testing confirmed the powder was cocaine, while officials later clarified it was not found in the library but in a cubby in the West Wing holding area that press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said was in a “heavily traveled area.”

When reporters inquired about Hunter — whose well-documented addictions to substances including crack cocaine immediately drew suspicion — Jean-Pierre said, “The president and his family were not here” over the weekend.

On Thursday, administration spokesman Andrew Bates declined to comment on whether he could rule out Hunter as a culprit when pointedly asked if he could.

Jean-Pierre said there were multiple staff-led tours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday that passed through the West Wing area where the cocaine was found.

The Secret Service has taken over the investigation, and previously told The Post that it “does not comment on an active investigation.”

    @Os Trigonum

My bad I just actually watched the video in the small baggie post and it would have been clear had I watched it that you were joking. I was a Breaking Bad fan the first few seasons to add to that

The White House That Tracked Down Grannies After Capitol Riot Wants You To Believe Cocaine Caper Has Them Stumped

… The White House is supposedly equipped with state-of-the-art security that would make finding the druggie who lost his illegal loot incredibly easy.

White House staff and visitors are required to go through multiple security checkpoints before entering areas like the West Wing. Some of these screening areas are even equipped with dogs that are trained to alert to illegal substances and items. Where metal detectors and cameras may fail, swarms of Secret Service and White House visitor logs are designed to prevail.

Against a bag of cocaine, however, Politico’s inside man suggests all of these measures are moot.

“Even if there were surveillance cameras, unless you were waving it around, it may not have been caught,” the anonymous official told Politico. “It’s a bit of a thoroughfare. People walk by there all the time.”

“So, what’s preventing a visitor from bringing in anthrax or something that’s not magnetic into the White House?” one reporter queried at Wednesday’s press briefing.

It’s a question worth asking. If the cocaine caper truly was a security breach that law enforcement officials couldn’t catch at security checkpoints or on cameras, the White House cannot, in good conscience, claim that the first family is safe in the executive mansion.

Instead of addressing reporters’ concerns, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre emphasized that the president and his family — including his son, who has a long history with the illicit drug — were not at the White House during the incident. She, along with several White House leakers, also repeated the idea that the drugs were discovered in a “heavily traveled area” where “many … West Wing visitors come through.”

“We have confidence that the Secret Service will get to the bottom of this,” Jean-Pierre said.

Security failures in important government buildings, including the White House, have certainly occurred in the past. When protestors walked into the Capitol on January 6 — one of the most notable breaches in recent history — the Biden regime partnered with banks, cell phone companies, and Big Tech to track down, question, and arrest people near and in the federal building.

Months after the afternoon chaos, people like Georgia grandma Linda Menk, who merely attended the Trump rally near the White House on Jan. 6, received house visits from the FBI who demanded to question her about her stint in D.C.

To this day, with encouragement from the president himself, Biden’s Department of Justice is working to find and charge Americans for their presence in the Capitol in 2021. But when it comes to finding the crackhead who left his cargo somewhere in the president’s residence, the White House clearly couldn’t be less interested in pursuing an investigation.

The administration dead-set on “bringing transparency” back to the nation is hiding something.

Whether the cocaine belongs to someone with a history of doing crack like Hunter — who would be in direct violation of his sweetheart plea deal if the drug bag was connected to him — a staffer, or even a White House guest, Americans deserve to know why the Biden administration suddenly doesn’t care about security breaches.
