Why are you bringing up JG? He wasn't playing point. VV lit Porter up in that game. Green, still finding his way, outplayed Porter. But he got owned right? Agenda maybe?

    VV
    32 pts
    12 of 26 for 46FG%
    7 of 16 on three's 43%
    4 assists w/ 1 turnover
    3 boards
    4 steals
    1 block

    Porter
    12 pts,
    4 of 11 for 36FG%
    1 of 6 on three's 16%
    11 assists w/ 4 turnovers
    2 boards
    0 steals
    0 blocks

    JG
    21 pts
    8 of 14 for 56FG%
    2 of 6 on three's 33%
    6 assists w/ 4 turnovers
    6 boards
    0 steals
    0 blocks

    Not sure your point.

On a side note. VV gonna help the D a ton

People always look at me funny when I tell them it hurts more going down stairs than upstairs.

Uphill running is better for the knee and all leg muscle groups since it engages your quad and vmo more. Also uphill sprints are EXCELLENT for cardio and much better than long distance running.

Always good to see they're working out, but honestly with Jalen, I'm not the least worried about his physical. I want to see him doing shooting and especially dribbling drills. Gotta tighten up his handle. Especially with his left and going left. Open up that side and his game grows exponentially.

    And his defense.

I swear I never saw someone so lost on defense as this kid, God love him.

Yeah, but that'll come once the team buys into Udoka's system. The added vets will help. Right now, along with strength and conditioning, he needs to focus on his shooting and especially his handle. My .2

Green is going to be 10-15% more efficient playing next to FVV. Mark this post.

Cardio is what makes great two way players especially players expected to have heavy offensive loads.

Of course. The key takeaway for me is that FVV and Green are embracing the mentor/mentee relationship. Green has a whole lot to learn from FVV that goes beyond individual basketball skills. Things that I personally believe FVV was far far far more equipped to teach Green (and the other young guys) than any available free agent.

    100%

Udoka knew this. Thank God he was smart enough to convince the FO to go away from Harden.

People that hike a lot knows how hard going down hill are on your knees. Hiking poles' main purpose is to help you go down hell and lessen the impact on your knees

Hey DIMWIT, the video that I was responding to showed that FVV was cooking them both with his D.

Here let me blow your tiny mind, if you were going to try to win a game right now, JG would be KPJ's backup at SG....

Yes. This is what happens when you don't have an elite scorer inside, no elite dribble penetrator and you run your players into the ground (tired legs). They just couldn't get defenses to collapse, so shooters were not getting fed properly. For some strange reason, Nurse was even treating FVV like he's Kobe Bryant out of desperation for some dribble penetration. Some of the shots FVV was taking were absurd difficulty and so late in the clock (and Nurse defended the strategy at times). Nurse and Masai both really f*cked up last season.

Thank god we have Alpi, Green and Udoka. FVV can rest a little more, act a little more like a floor general and a little less like Kobe Bryant. Glad to have him.
