I want to give a shout-out to unsung hero Gary Pettis. He's been making some great reads the last few series, knowing when to hold and send runners in the right moments. I'm watching the Brewers and just saw the worst send off a hit by their 3rd base coach in extra innings. He was out by a mile and it ended up being a double play, ending the inning for them.
I never hated Corey. I do think he is a AAAA player though. He has performed well when given an opportunity. But is still not near the player Chas or Meyers are. If Yordan wasn't hurt I would be very frustrated at his playing time.
What makes Jake so great? Seems like he has a cult following here. Average power, strikes out a lot and an above average glove. I saw more in Jake Marisnick than Meyers
Just an utterly ridiculous take on the situation. You've apparently got Chas on the doorstep of the hall of fame. Meyers? That's a joke.
