Why? Because the Rangers pitching isn’t elite. If you want to tell me that the Rangers line up is elite - I will agree with you. It’s deep and very good. He pitching? It’s solid but not scary.
@mvpcrossxover is a ****ing p***y who envy’s the penis that is of the Texas Rangers. Please pin this. That is all. @Buck Turgidson Fugazi!
Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the lull the Rangers have fallen pray to for nearly the past month. We have only gained a half game on them. We picked a bad time for Yordan to get hurt.
I was 17 and saw them with COC and then again with Circle Jerks in Deep Ellum, hell of a ****ing show. Skated whip and dip on Harry Hines, Clown ramp at Bachman Lake and parking garages in downtown Dallas listening to Fugazi. This brings back great memories of being kid and not caring about much of anything.
You did the good thing. Big Fun Times. Around '96 or so, somewhere North of the Loop there was a closed down skate rink. Fugazi played a show in this closed down skate rink. There were about 100 people there in an entire roller rink, and they tore **** up for a couple of hours. One of he most bizarre shows I've ever seen.
They put on some intense shows. Crazy calm followed by absolute chaos. I only saw them maybe twice but I don’t think I’ll ever forget those shows.
WTF is the matter with you? No one has been better than the Astros at baseball for 6 years. That’s not debatable. The one flaw Lunhow had was arrogance whatever he might spout in the media. And yes some teams some years might have a particular strength that is better than the Astros but you said something moronic. The rangers pitching isn’t elite and making fun of that idiocy isn’t arrogance, it’s just pointing out your middle of the game temper tantrum.
I choose to see it this way: after a ridiculous amount of lengthy injuries to so many of the best players on the Astros…and the best start in franchise history for the Rangers…the Astros are only 3 games back with about half a season left to play, including head to head matchups.
Great post and totally agree. Looking at AL standings all teams are either 4-6, 5-5, or 6-4 in last 10 games which is pretty wild. Seems most teams are just waiting for the all star break.
^^^This^^^ Altuve has only played in 31 of 84 games. Yordan has only played in 57 of 84 games. Lost Garcia for the season. No LMJ. Urquidy has been out for most of the season. Abreu contributed nothing the first two months of the season. Yes TEX lost deGrom which is a big blow but they have numerous guys having career seasons and having said that we're only FOUR games back??
We are 4 games back. Not a bad place to be despite the injuries and the horrific start by Abreu, but LMJ & Garcia aren't coming back. I'm worried Yordan has had a number of injuries over the years that have plagued him. Maybe Brantley doesn't come back (still can't believe we paid him $12M before he got healthy). Hopefully the team can get healthy, and Brown adds at least one starter, oh and Dusty Baker puts out lineups that look like he actually cares about winning regular season games... I so bad want to see the Altuve/Brantley/Yordan/Bregman/Tucker/Abreu/Diaz/McCormick/Pena lineup happen. We'd basically need it to match the Rangers lineup (they have 9 guys with an OPS over .800)
Chas is now 6 for 11 in bases loaded situations. Very clutch. That hit and the diving catch on Semien's dribbler with men on base saved the game.
