He had a good rookie year. But his shooting never really improved, he got stuck behind a logjam of 2’s, and Silas didn’t play him. I’m willing to acknowledge that he probably didn’t have much value on the market; maybe if we had sold high after his rookie year. Strange that we had to pay two 2nds to get rid of TyTy and Garuba but not Christopher. Is it fair to surmise that JC had more value than TyTy or Garuba? That’s surprising to me.
The Grizz roster is full ....if Christopher ends up there then he is a full sure waive. I think the Grizz are going to shopping around for the best player than can get involved here from a 3rd team and are not interested in any of the Rockets players or Mills.
That video was one of the least surprising things I’ve seen… if you didn’t get that vibe from Jalen and Josh idk what to tell you.
Concerning Dillon Brooks, most Rockets fans will undoubtedly hate him. Mainly because he is a poor shooter and he takes so many shots. But he WILL bring a swagger to a team that probably needs a little swagger. He is like the second coming of Rick Mahorn and would have been great on the Bad Boy Pistons team. I would imagine that the rockets will take another step towards the playoffs and some of it will be due to how Dillion will manage as a locker room guy. He certainly gave the grizzlies a swagger and (in my opinion) was the least of the grizzlies problems. The Grizzlies aren’t tough enough and they got a little less tough without Dillon Brooks. Is my opinion.
Nah, we're used to bad shooters. If he brings attitude, we'll soon learn to love him. (See: Garrison Matthews, Pat Bev, Ron Artest, etc.)
I think TyTy and KMJ and Garuba have a future in the league. JC, not so much. It feels like he never really improved. His selfish ball hog style in summer league last year really pissed me off. Instead of thinking he is some big fashion designer, should have focused on becoming a good team player. I think he can have a good career in Europe, once he finally focuses on being a basketball player, and cuts out all the other nonsense.
Christopher was desperate to show something every time he hit the floor so he kind of sabotaged himself by being so selfish on the court. I think he will ultimately end up being a pretty good player, but he needs to reign that **** in first. A good coach would have fixed that. He never had a good coach here.
@Williamson take a look at Cam Whitmore. I have a feeling he's gonna need some love soon. Besides both of your last names start with a "W" that's cool.
You really don't know how this works, do you? You're messing with careers and Rockets success. @Williamson, Whitmore sucks... go stan for Alpha Kaba.
