    until now only Jock i had ever heard of was oilman ewing

    and though i'd heard of two J.R.'s, tis strange that the one we got here wasn't the one posting the thread about the new Jock

    nothing makes sense anymore

    I feel similar to how I feel about FVV. We went out and got a player that fills our exact need, it’s not perfect and there are some deficiencies but it’s adequate. But why did we pay him so much? Is Jock Landale really worth 8m a year? Is FVV worth 130? It seems like we coulda got Jock for 2 years 4 million.

    I don't know. Can he protect the rim at all?

    Sengun is passionate, hard working, smart defender. I was hoping for someone with a huge wingspan and ability to protect the rim with shot blocking.

    On the plus side he's a good shooter in his career and his % last year was out of the ordinary for him. Pre-NBA he could shoot too. Haven't verified this, relaying an Australian fans info.

    If Sengun and Longdale improve their 3pt shooting at a standard rate, Jalen will shred defenses apart. Maybe Udoka preferred spacing over shot blocking.

    Happy to give it a shot.

    Good signing, solid backup center and was pretty good for Phoenix last year. Needed some front court depth and we got it with that signing. Great team friendly contract.
