All we’re asking for is our Omer Asik. We can get our Dwight Howard (lolz) upgrade later.

man, I loved Asik and those poison pill contracts, but remember how he could literally not catch the ball? Brick hands.

I can’t imagine a tank being able to hold back prime Shaq if he saw a roster of Sengun, landale and Uncle Jeff between him and the rim. The Toyota Center would have to keep five backboards in storage just to be safe. Shaq would literally be drooling (more than usual) at tip-off.

I'm quite confident sengun would get Shaq in foul trouble. It's quite hard to defend against someone who has post moves.

Yeah, FVV shot 38% on pull up jumpers as well as the insane 50% on catch and shoots when playing off ball. (for long stretches)

I'm fully expecting some of our current players to improve their shot just by having another offseason of work put in.

If Jabari Smith doesn't improve his 3-point shot I will get slightly concerned with him, even though I wanted him 1st overall in his draft. I 100% believe part of his 3 point struggles was our offense relied way too much on KPJ and Green creating shots from the top of the key. There was absolutely NO rhythm created for Jabari. We hardly ever ran plays for Smith to get in a groove during the games. Sure he got open looks, but they were shots where he stood around and stood around and then took a shot. That's not his game and never has been. The few games we did get him going in the high post, we did it in the first few plays and it was night and day. Green will now be playing his natural role with FVV. KPJ, for all of his faults, is an excellent catch and shoot player. Amen will need KPJ to make those shots and KPJ won't mind taking them on the second unit.

FVV is not a bad shooter, so hopefully he recovers from last year.

Ime said it straight up, we need to see our existing players step up and the current construction of the team improved their changes to step up. Over the next 2 seasons we should have a really good idea if our 23 and under crew can be championship pieces and more important, what role they can play on a championship team.

I do wish we were able to G. Williams instead of Brooks, but I also understand that if we signed G.Williams and Boston matched on the 2nd day we could've missed out on Brooks, who despite everyone's reaction, will add a lot of defensive tenacity this team lacked last year. Same goes for Reaves.

Yes I'm on the camp that Ime understands we need and will have growth from within. Jabari is going to make the biggest leap of all. I think this shooting will improve with FVV on the court. Have a big hit from deep will space the floor.

And was sometimes a weekly occurrence. Young Shaq was a force of nature.

With the rules nowadays, it doesn't take much to get call foul. Sengun is savvy enough to flop/bait fouls.

    Not too farfetched.

I don't think sengun could ever guard Shaq prime, but he could have certainly baited some fouls to get Shaq in foul trouble.

We need to trade for a rim protecting PF that can potentially develop a 3 (AG), five years after we draft our Jokic.

We're in year 3 (4 really) and we have virtually none of the pieces Denver had at that point. I doubt any of our players could yield a piece like that, unless we trade Sengun, the only player on our team that actually creates positive Raptor. KPJ too actually, but trading him would be difficult for other reasons, and he's older.

Looking forward to Amen Thompson. Hope he has the drive to be special. Other than that, this season is going to be tough.

Sengun will be listed 7'0 this year. Jokic/Sabonis style Center's explosiveness always limited. They have other strengths. Stop being a hater.

Young Shaq was the most dominant player I've ever witnessed.

Players like Hakeem, Jordan, Lebron were more skilled, better, and more impactful,... but Shaq was dominant. The only Sengun would be able to do with Shaq would be use all 6 fouls. Sengun has foul trouble against today's centers... he wouldn't make it past the first 3 minutes without 3 fouls.
