    https://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2023_adj_shooting.html

Worst players in NBA in basketball references adjusted shooting stat TS added. The stat shows how many points above or below a league average efficiency player would have scored with the same number of “true shot attempts” that player took that season. So if you are a really inefficient scorer but shoot a lot you will be towards the bottom of this list.

    2nd Worst : Dillon Brooks
    8th Worst : Jalen Green
    9th Worst : Jabari Smith
    16th Worst : Fred VanVleet

No shortage of bricks next year. 30th ranked offense incoming.

Brooks is NOT a starter. He's a 7th-8th guy in the rotation you use to annoy the other teams best player for 8-10 minutes a game. He's not a player that contributes to winning basketball hence the Grizzlies who are in title contention saying they are done with him before the damn season ended. Only the Rockets would do this.

Clear more of the roster and get more cap space.

I'm guessing they trade Tate for Brooks, as Tate carries the highest contract to least value of anyone on the team.

I agree with everyone that were clearing cap for a center.

He’s no Melo. He’ll either fix it or he’ll be out of the league. I hope everything that happened last year and how he pretty much turned into the most hated player in the league was a wake up call. The grizz dumped him and it doesn’t really seem like there’s a market for him outside of us.

And that's 4/5 of the Rockets starting lineup next season. Everyone thought I was joking when I said that the Rockets are looking to build the worst shooting team of the modern NBA. It was no joke, they pulled it off!

His ego is bigger than Melo. Melo could at least score. This dude doesn't do anything positive.

I'd rather have you on the team than Brooks. At least you won't shoot.

Again, Brooks doesn't need a good coach, he needs a good therapist. He won't be the first player to flame out of the league because he had too big of an ego and couldn't stop chucking.

I noticed our two big signings this offseason were of guys the fan base of their former teams hoped would leave.

    Not a good look.

We should be trading for better players under better contracts.

Almost assuredly Tate, and likely Christopher.

Probably somewhere in the 10-15m range per year.

I don't like this move either.

He DOES shoot 37% on wide open threes, while being an ALL NBA defender.

Memphis doesn't even want him back for the minimum and the Rockets just dumped 4 picks and cash to get him? And it's a SnT so they'll prob give up even more assets? Are you kidding me?
