There's got to be more for this right? Why tf would Rox pay 2 first rounders, 2 second rounders and cash just to acquire a scrub not even in the NBA????

Tyty and Garuba collectively make 4M, you ain't saving much dumping the two of them. How does this make any sense??? Like why not trade Jaesean Tate then? Tate makes 7M.

Stone just did the worst trade of his career what the hell was he smoking?

Dude was the Turkish League MVP. We got him AND Sengoat. The league might as well give us the championship now.

That's a fast track to mediocrity and a surefire recipe for a perpetual treadmiller.

Plus with that "grass is greener" philosophy, had the Rockets taken Mobley and his flaws got exposed immediately (much like they did during the playoffs) half the board would be whining about passing on young, talented 20 ppg scorer with unlimited upside.

    Context matters.
The Rockets made a commitment to rebuild from the ground up and are all the better for it.

I assume they are clearing the space for some important FA signing (although I don't see any great FAs on the market this year). But just looking at the face value of this trade, Alpha Kaba is like the proverbial "bag of chips" often used jokingly as the cheapest possible trade return.

That means we are going to give Brooks $30m? I refuse to believe that.

As we've seen and known, high end players don't go to terrible franchises. You have to show something before you get a shot at high end players. That mediocrity you speak of is more appealing to high end players vs a dumpster fire. When I speak of Mobley vs Green, its more about a guy being a professional. I've seen too many times when Green totally quit on plays when he doesn't have or get the ball. That has nothing to do with flaws. At very least with Mobley, you get effort, rim protection, and a professional. The same thing Wall said in the podcast that some of the young players were doing, its being put on display. Those players that you say would've put the team on the cycle of average, well, guess what? The Rockets are below average.

After Dillion Brooks, who is next? Jarrett Allen? Myles Turner?
