Now that the new PG is in board, will he be moved to a 6th man role or eventually move to the SG while Green will be our SF? Or will they try to trade him and make room for a new SF or even give the minutes to Tari?
He shoots too well for what this team is looking to do, they'll probably trade him in order to pick up Dillon Brooks or some other sub 50% TS guy. They can't have anyone who is even an average quality shooter on this roster.
Much depends on KPJ. If he behaves, he could proper as a 6th man. If not, I hope he likes chew bones.
As down as I’ve been on KPJ, he deserves a shot in a 6th man role. Maybe Udoka can release his inner Jamal Crawford.
Dillion Brooks or KPJ will be our SF. KPJ has issues but he is our best shooter. If he concentrates on not being a point guard, he can average 20 points a game, 45+ FG% and 36+ at the 3 point line, try hard defender, rebounder and physicality.
KPJ is there to push Jalen to take better shots. Without the PG responsibility fully on him and hearing Udoka mention how good he is at catch and shoot I can see him being used in a more successful. Jalen needs to show more improvement especially defensively if he wants more playing time. I’m excited to see how this competition for playing time will push the young guys.
I think his 3% makes him a safe bet for starting SF They won’t move him until they see what kinda leap Jalen has this year. He’s great insurance I could see a Amen/KPJ back court work just as well
