After getting high and taking a long shower I’ve come to understand this was the best move. FVV will be a extension of Ime on the floor and allow us to develop Amen and allow KPJ to be the hooper he is without jeopardizing winning If we sign Lopez I promise you FVV/Amen Green/Vet/Whitmore KPJ/KMJ/Whitmore Jabari/Tari Lopez/Sengun Will be a post season team. Trade Tate for additional salary
Just Bobby being Bobby. You don’t become the single worst poster on Clutchfans without staying true to your god awful takes
You seem to forget that Udoka is hell bent on bringing in Dillon Brooks to help lower the team's shooting percentages. Toss a selfish chucker with a 49% TS% into the mix and what does it look like?
I don’t mind Dillon. I thought half the **** he said was hilarious. Depends how serious he was when he says it but I appreciate outlandish comical statements to media If we sign him we need to trade KMJ and his daddy I don’t think Dillon would step out of bounds with Ime & FVV on this team. KPJ probably willing to fight him too
I don't care about ANYTHING he said, I care that he's a terrible player. He's an absolutely pathetic shooter who demands shot attempts anyway. He was upset last season that he ONLY got to take 14 shots a game despite being one of the worst shooters on his team. To put this in context, it would be like Daishen Nix upset that he only got 14 shots a game. That's the guy we're trying to pay to bring in. With Nix gone, Brooks would immediately step in as one of the worst players on the roster, but he'd almost certainly be guaranteed a starting job.
The starting SF position is KPJ. Ain’t no Dillon Brooks starting over KPJ Now that KPJ is allowed to be a straight shooter he will probably have the most minutes in the team
We'll see. From what a lot are saying Udoka loves him and he was already seeking a bigger role in the offense in Memphis....which is why they told him to piss off. He's going to be a problem if you think you are going to bring him off the bench when he sees himself as a superstar center of an offense.
Just a reminder that Bane got $207M over 5 and Jerami Grant got $160M over 5. Appears we paid the going rate for a good starter/borderline all-star, as crazy as the numbers look. We just put the money into a shorter deal to maintain cap flexibility in a few years.
Yeah this is the big fear I have with Dillon Brooks. He's an elite defender. Like truly elite. I'd be on board for that with shaky shooting if he was comfortable being a low usage defender. But he complained about being asked to be that. He wants to be a star on offense. Yikes man, no thanks to that.
Stop the scam, one player isn't adding 15 wins. Literally trash tier posts from Rockets front office spreading lies. It may work on the average Rockets fan, but some of us actually work in advanced analytics and immediately smelled the bullshit. Poetl added 33 wins based on Cleaning the glass. Koloko added 24 wins. This is the most imbecilic analytics ever produced. Makes Hollinger's PER looks like a metric conjured up by a genius.
Right. I buy into idea that there are advanced stats that show FVF is better than people here think, but anyone peddling a double digit win factor for him needs to start their education over.
Dumba$$es on here btch and moan about overpaying for harden. Celebrates not getting him and now we sign fvv to this sht contract. Man is not worth 40 mil per year ever. We get what we deserve.
What makes you say he's an elite defender? his metrics are bad (though improving to where he's bad but not horrible). He's truly horrific on offense though, he's not just mediocre or bad, he's horrific.
The bane contract I get because they want to keep him and he’s a blossoming player. The grant one is yuck but the good news is the blazers could walk it back. fvv: I m just…ugh. In my head, he’s the best pg out there and he brings stable pg play and defense and leadership but at that price, ewww. I hope the 3rd year is a team option
