That Haliburton deal makes sense, but that much money for Bane is even crazier than the contract we gave FVV

I don't know why y'all are freaking out about bane's contract. He re-signed with his own team, it's not like he was available to us.

Fvv's contract will be expiring by the time we need to re-sign anyone of note and we were going to have to overpay anyone we acquire.

I believe the Rockets are going to dump Usman and TyTy after the moratorium for extra cap space essentially. A KJ Martin trade also still seems likely.

Damn. Garuba looks promising and TyTy hasn’t even gotten a chance here.

Kind of figured KJ’s days were numbered, though.

Thanks for the update. I’m not gonna lose sleep over them but it really feels like we’ve mismanaged assets here. I guess we’ll end up getting no return on Christian Wood. I can live with a late 1st rounder in his 3rd year like Garuba not working out (even though he showed great improvement), but dumping TyTy after one year is a fail. Once we drafted Amen and Signed FVV it became clear he has no pathway to playing time, but they better at least get a good 2nd for TyTy.

Man, this is huge. Right after they extended Grant, too.

I am surprised Garuba is on the chopping block unless it is because he is valued outside the team.

TyTy...I didn't see much last season other than novelty. I wouldn't mind keeping him, but wouldn't lose sleep over losing him either. He was a lottery ticket and the expectation should be that individual lottery tickets will fail.

    Seems like a reasonable deal.

Yes, the Bucks, Rockets and those Spurs. Spurs are actually trying to get Lopez now! Wemby does not want to play Center for the first year and they want Lopez as their Center. They have the money, we have 25 million and they have 29 million. That would be a crazy frontline….Rockets let’s go.

Buck’s beat reporter are worried about Lopez because he should have already signed with the Bucks. The money from the Rockets and maybe the Spurs….is causing the delay.

If the spurs want brook Lopez to mentor and start while wemby acclimates to the nba, then it makes sense we would want fvv to mentor and start ahead of amen so he can learn the ropes too.

hopefully we can get brook Lopez though, he’s seemingly the only 5 left that can play defense and hit threes . Otherwise our spacing will be cramped, or our interior defense will be trash..
