It's a little bit expensive but there aren't any choices available. Rockets need to spend the money.

    To clarify .

gordon (when healthy ) was a top 30 player .

    Fred can do that .

he’s a bit smaller , but a bit better at creating offense.

    needs to be healthy .

If it means I’ll never see KPJ as the starting PG again, I’m 100% for it even with the overpay.

OKC has the Rockets protected 1st round pick next year right? It’s time to win games and push that pick out of the top 10. An overpay yes but I think worth it

ehh doesn’t matter I guess. He’s still a better career 3 point shooter than KPJ and way way better free throw shooter. Definitely not a downgrade at shooting like you mention

They about to give Gary Trent a huge extension and they were going to trade pascal as well. They also have a gaping hole at pg

They saw this man shoot brick after brick last season. I'm sure they are laughing at $40+ mil per year. 40% fg and 34% from 3 gets you $130 mil. What a time to be alive!

Like the signing. He came at a premium but the Rockets have to roll the dice to stay competitive.

Someone has to lead these young fools. Hope he can make an impact.

this is the kind of thing that other GM’s do and that Stone doesn’t do. The Pistons will trade him in a year or so for a 1st round pick

If Fred has the will and mojo to be the floor general on and off the floor, one that will mold a couple of our lotto talent, then his max will be worth it.

It's a bit of a hail mary, but Ime alone can't fix the kindergarten clinic Silas ran overnight.

This was the beginning of the "win now" Rockets. Adding Lopez and Brooks would finish it.
That would leave us with a starting lineup of
    VanVleet
    Green
    Brooks
    Smith
    Lopez
