    The 1st of many players to successfully leverage Houston's cap space to get a bigger contract from their team.

    Kyrie, in this case, got $42MM/yr. Bravo.

    What surprises me is Kyrie gets $42 mil per year for 3 years (even though he's a headcase) and Harden feels he couldn't get more than his $35 mil for 1 year deal so he opted in.

    IIRC he opted in to make it easier to get traded... Htown was probably one of only two places where he could get traded in S&T.

    I still think he is going to LAC with wink-wink deal to get paid next year by Billionaire Balmer.
