Damn. He even toned down calling out the league in the past couple of seasons.

Add yet another horrid commentary team to the list now. JVG was keeping that trash with Marc Jackson together.

I still laugh at him being allowed to commentate the Finals, and say with a straight face 'Jokic is the best player in basketball'. Knowing full well he didn't give him an MVP vote.

He was just on radio as a guest analyzing / talking about Rockets yesterday (June 29th)

Sounds like ESPN is cutting costs.

Kind of of a double edged sword for me! In one end I feel bad for my homie (JVG) that he’s being treated this way, he is the best commentator that ESPN had! On the other end I’m ecstatic that he no longer is associated with that trash network!! They are always pushing a narrative and it’s clear that that they don’t give a crap about any HTown teams!!

White is all the colors combined.

    The ultimate colored commentator.

BRING HIM HOME! If he doesn't want a basketball operations related job, let him announce home Rockets and Texans and guest appear Astros games

Unless there is some scandal that has not been revealed yet, this is all part of the ESPN budget cuts that have been previously announced.

He simply made too much money. They also fired Keshawn and Max Kellerman, although it appears Jay Williams is staying. I wonder if he will replace JVG?

I could definitely see JVG on TNT. He cannot be worse than Hubie Brown; he is like 100 years old.

Also, isn't his brother (SVG) on ESPN?

Why are yall mentioning NBC? Is that still a thing? TV deal negotiations are still ongoing? I assumed ESPN/ABC Disney locked that ish up. You mean we get to watch basketball without Disney trying to push their woke agendas in our faces and we get the theme song and peacock logo back??

BRING HOME THE NBA on NBC! So much nostalgia and the best theme ever. Theatrical like production levels.
