I'm sure your gated neighborhood doesn't have any sort of HOA or deed restrictions or anything of that nature, right? If they do I'm sure you're fighting to abolish them.

If you read the article it's about reducing particulate emissions in local neighborhoods - not CO2.

This isn't even related to this thread

Yeah, having a mirror here helps too. Every change is attributed to climate change politic when many of them are simply aimed at improving the economy or health. For example, the creation of the EPA in the 70s (under a Republican President) wouldn’t have been possible if climate change politics were a thing back then. A more recent example is the health risks associated with indoor gas appliances.

another example of grouping everything under climate change politic when it’s simply about local health

All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” DEP spokesman Ted Timbers said in a statement Sunday. “This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”

Also regulations about who can use bathrooms, play sports, and what kind of books can be in your school libraries. Also what opinion private corporations can express about public laws.

Note Antonio Gutterres did write “progressively phase out”.
This is just alarmism form the other side that any efforts to reduce the dependence on fossil
Fuels means no longer traveling or having plastics, etc..

That would be like claiming that we shouldn’t phase out lead becaue we wouldn’t have paint.

It did to me, where U was the fossil fuel industry twitter account, (and not U the poster who shared the tweets).

They come off like petulant children who missed nap time, LOL.
