Ah yes those damn beta males and loser weirdos that root for their favorite player on the team's fan site, damn them all to hell! Totally normal to be that invested in what others post that it actually makes you mad and consumes you lol.
It was a surprisingly early use of the "I am trolling" card. You still have a couple of years ahead of you to celebrate every Sengun turnover on Rockets Watch. Enjoy trolling while you still can.
I’ve been saying for the longest that @AroundTheWorld and other Sengun fans are delusional when it comes to him. These guys weren’t happy when we won games that Sengun didn’t play or was a non factor in. They would rather us be a lottery team with Sengun being the star, than us winning it all with him barely playing. They diss other players on the team to push their agenda. Watch them hate on Amen when he’s the one running the offense.. watch them make some “fire Ime” threads when Sengun doesn’t finish a game. Most of the games we won last year were when Jalen or KPJ went off and Sengun was solid. We didn’t win many games when Sengun led the way, it was based on how our backcourt played
This may be the most laughably clueless thing I've read on CF this year. Sadly it's right on brand for Sengunatics.
The Alp haters are out heavy today, hiding behind their fake “objectivity” You have to be a terrible Rocket fan to hate on the teams best young player like that.
I'm waiting for ww3 to occur on Clutchfans if Ime doesn't run the offense through Sengun and instead gives the ball to Amen.
If he gives the ball to kpj, well yes. edit: though i cannot imagine any coach giving sengun a less function role than silas.
Amen already knows he can benefit from Alp, so does Alp. It would be dumb to not utilize your best offensive weapon. I don’t think anyone or shouldn’t rather expects it to be the only offensive style. Movement, cutting and sharing the ball is Ime style
Again, you are making **** up, just like when you claimed there was a video with missed easy passes of Sengun. Haters will just invent stuff that suits their agenda.
I'd say then surely you could offer more to dispute it but let's be honest you definitely have nothing lol
Eh, I can choose a lesser player if you think that makes the analogy fit better. Tim Hardaway Jr? My point is it doesn't matter who the player is, I think that bringing in an older guy to start over one of our young players is a mistake. It could be Beal or Hardaway over Jalen, it could be bringing in Jerami Grant to start over Jabari, it could be Brook Lopez to start over Sengun. I don't think any of these are the right decision. Our young guys need to be able to learn, make mistakes, and get big minutes to eventually flourish. There are probably dozens of older players who we could sign/trade for who could start over Bari/Green/Sengun and get this team more wins, but I just think that's a bad idea. Bring in vets to mentor and back them up, sure, but I don't want to hear that some mediocre past-his-prime veteran is starting over any of our up and coming guys. Regarding your point #2, I agree with you, which is why I didn't bring that point up. I shoulda left it out when I quoted you. No argument here.
of course we didn't win many games when Sengun went off. Cuz our dumb coach only gave him the ball when KPJ and Green were injured as a last resort. He wasn't winning games Daishen Nix. No one can win with Daishen Nix... If we just had a serviceable backup we woulda been just fun. Instead we trotted out the worst basketball I've ever seen and somehow people expected us to win..... half of clutch fans coulda shot better from three than Nix. He was wide open the entire game and never made anything.
You are exactly right and I am very hopeful Stone and Ime are of the same mind on this. Hopefully, Tillman has taken his hands off the wheel. I don’t care who starts, but our core guys need to get their minutes. Bringing in vet guys like FVV or Lopez (unless he’s willing to be a backup) does nothing but slow down the development of the guys that ultimately will make or break this team. We have one spot for a veteran starter and that is forward, whether its PF or SF it doesn’t matter, because Jabari can play both and a little center.
Other than that Maj guy and some other r..rd that i forgot his nickname, nobody truly hates Sengun here. We have bunch of doubters. Just like Jalen and Jabari has (on them is me). What ppl fail to understand is that there's nothing more normal in the world than a good bber having a passionate fanbase. Sengunatics are this Sengunsexuals are that b.tching is essentially shooting at sun. You can't make ppl turn on a good player simply by pointing out how those people behave. "Sengun fans are delusional" sh-t will not change a damn thing. "He'll be played off court in the playoffs", "He's too short", "He's too slow" doesn't mean anything atm since the kid is extremely fun to watch, a team player, and efficient. Picking on him while we have gleague Jabari, inconsistent Jalen just because sengun's fanbase is a little bit louder (debatable) is idiotic. You are letting a fanbase get under your skin and somehow change your entire view on a player. Butler fans can bark as much as they want and that wouldn't really bother me and certainly wouldn't make me question Butler's skillset. That's a beta behaviour.
Playing Brook over Sengun, THJ or Beal over Green, Draymond over Jabari just to be a play-in team is objectively wrong.
Your take remains the problem. As Coach Udoka said today, the team is bringing in vets and nothing will be given. That is exactly how it should be. It's ironic that Sengun fanatics incessantly gush about his basketball greatness but fear even the slightest competition. If Sengun can't beat out Lopez he doesn't deserve to start. Period. I said the exact same thing last year when rumblings came out about KJ wanting a trade after the team drafted Jabari and Tari. Earn your burn. Real hoopers relish completion so it seems weird that Sengunatics want Sengun to run from it.
