Everytime I hear this guy talk it feels like he has been watching the Rockets for years and has not only an understanding of what needs to be done, but a measurable plan for the things that need to be fixed.

We shall see if the talk matches the walk.

I truly believe Rockets had play-in talent LAST YEAR. Ime saw the talent, that's why he jumped at the chance to coach the Rockets. I'm not even a millionaire coach, and I peeped it. Ime wouldn't say this if he didn't believe it. Pay me Rockets!

 

Players run the league, the coaches/GM etc are like non article 3 corporate magisrate/judge, just there to monitor/ref the situation and say the right things and put those players in best situation to prosper and nurture egos

The only way to see and know what you got is playing your young players, rather they add vets or not

They only changed coaches while adding two more 20 and under players and to an already basically NCAA NBA aged team

Ime is going to show what he is truly made of, players included

 

It cannot be stated how horrendous Stephen Silas was. This is such an obvious thing for a coach to say yet Silas was incapable of grasping this.

 

The barometer has been set. The Rockets have to be a 40-45 win team at minimum!

Amen is getting 20+ mpg no matter what happens barring injury of course. It might not be at starting PG or whatever but he's seeing those minutes. The only way for guys like Jabari and Amen and other young players to improve is to actually play them and so they will still see a huge chunk of minutes per game.

 

When Tate is starting Clutchfans are gonna be upset. But, the young guys have to earn it.

aside from the stories reported and that I’ve heard… dude is a straight shooter w the “players already know it’s different, no handing out playing time based on draft position” - watch KPJ pout or Tari miss three layups in a row or Bari go 0-5 in the first quarter or defensive lapses happen and they’re getting pulled. The type to tell you straight to your face and then stare you down. They type to fk your girl if u act up lolololol.

No way! You said play-in team last year. Every play-in team won 40-44 games last year, so obviously, with even more top level talent from the draft and probably more veterans this year, we should win a few more games than that!
