Green has one of the most explosive dribble seperation abilities in the NBA. NBA offensive game plan shouldn't be so rigid that players with dynamic abilities should be pigeon holed into one role.

That's fine I guess. Ya as long as both develop right and are getting us back to relevance either one could be the _best player" I'd be happy.

Would you if it turned out the other way around even if you believe that scenario is slim to none because you think Sengun is that much better?

I'd be a 110% fine with it,. As I said, Jalen Green is going to be a beast. Honestly, I was trolling just a little bit in my previous post, but I really do think Sengun and Green are going to be our version Jokic and Murray. While the ultimate level of skill and responsiblity for each is yet to be determined, I am as high on Jalen as I am on Sengun.

Green is one speed, he is only down hill he needs to change speeds and change directions to become all he can be. There is a reason that KPJ is a better and more efficient scorer than Green right now, he has that ability to create space whereas Green doesn't yet.

Ya it's one of the reasons why KPJ needs to spam dribble for 10 seconds to beat defenders and Green needs like 1 second.

Also Green has greatly improved variations in his speed. Stop acting like the kid is Leandro Barbosa who has nothing but straight line speed. Green is one of the most laterally shifty players in the league.

Green also improves his team's offensive rating and efficiency a lot more than KPJ

    https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/team/11/onoff#tab-team_efficiency

2% higher ts% with two more years of NBA experience isn't something you should make as a talking point for KPJ. This was the first year KPJ reached Jalen Green rookie year efficiency.

Green not having the ability to create space off the dribble is probably the most absurd talking point I've heard from you yet.

As I said and typical of you to ignore the important point.....down hill....is all he has atm......he needs a hesi, a euro, and the ability to change speeds and directions to unlock his full potential.

    100%

Why I believe Harden is not on Udoka's priority list.

Green is on a team of really talented young players, he needs to let the game come to him more instead of forcing up shots.

He should really take a look at Tatum tape, especially now that Ime is here.

He is probably still closer to Kobe than Murray.

Kentucky is hands down the best program for guards so far.

I'd be happy with Jalen Green becoming Kobe too. I'll take Pau and Kobe as a comparison. Who wouldn't want Kobe and Jokic as your main 2 people?

From his interview with P George he is likely going to learn from Kyrie and I think he is probably end up doing tricks and stuff but to become the shooter Kyrie is would be very hard.

Rie's release was silky smooth even when younger.

IMHO Top 10 shooter in the league. Very underrated besides being the best ball handler and total nutjob.

You type words that have no reflection on reality. Green has done multiple Euros, hop steps in traffic, hesi moves in traffic etc.

I could keep going if it wasn't for the amount of time dedication required to find every clip of all his games as examples but plenty of more

Ok, I see that, he occassionally does some of that, it is good, needs to do it more often, and use his left hand more often.....nothing wrong with seeing things he needs to work on, man.......we all want the same thing, all criticism is not hate.

No you literally just say stuff out of your ass. The fact that you slightly altered your position to "of I guess he does that sometimes" means you literally don't watch games as you should know he does that "sometimes" if you actually watched the games.
    .

You say stuff out of your ass and want people to believe you are face value.

You could have been somewhat credible here if your starting position was "he needs to do it more often" rather than "he needs to learn how to do a eurostep" when the dude has one of the most shifty explosive europsteps I've ever seen. You show your hand too much that you don't do any meaningful watching of games.

No no no. Why does he have to change how he beats defenders when he has the one thing most NBA players don't? An elite first step and speed. Play to your strengths. KPJ is crafty, VERY good ball handler. He has to use his craftiness to get by defenders, Green doesn't. If you watch most of the games Green has euro steps, hesitation moves, etc. Not an elite ball handler by any means but solid. As he gets older, sure he'll have to adjust but that's what all the great players do over time. What Green needs to work on is his shot and being more efficient at the rim.

Everything I said about him is 100% FACTS - you just don't like what I pointed out and having 3 or 4 plays over the entire year do not change that.

Sorry charlie, your little mancrush needs to work on things.....same as mine.

Ive never once thought we were an over team the past few years.

Dont conflate past with present either, it makes for sloppy judgement.

But if the line is 25 wins that would be amazing value to get, especially before we spend in free agency.

To not expect a 3 or 4 win improvement would be an incredible error on the oddsmakers.

But, alas, the fault likely is with you thinking the win total would be so low.

not really. It actually should help judgement. At least that's what true gamblers and non squares would see. the win total is definitely going to be within that range. It's not going to be drastically different unless a true impact player signs like harden. But going back and forth with reports, doesn't seem that's likely to happen but everyone will see how it plays out in the coming days by next week
