Actually, firing Dusty in mid season would be a great baseball move.

    PR nightmare though.

Yes, we know he isn't getting fired. Time for Crane and Brown to intervene. Tell him to stop being a dumbass.

Just about everything a manager could do wrong, Dusty did. We aren't talking about tough decisions. Moments that just failed. We are talking about absolutely shittiing the bed.

Well...you may need to start spreading the word then.

Because a whole bunch of people are still stuck on that.

WTF are you babbling about now?

What do we all and I know? I'm dead serious, please do tell.

eta: yeah I guess I see where you're coming from, and I want no part of it.

Yep. I loved AJ. I never felt like he made a dumb move. Moves that didn’t work out? Sure, so the time. But a dumb move? Nah. Dusty baker constantly hits on 16 when the dealer is showing a 6. Just inexcusable moves. Like 3 of them at least today. Like, he daily does his best to try to lower our winning percentage 3-5%. Which doesn’t sound like a lot but over a 162 game season it works out to something like 5-8 wins. Which is a lot.

Chumps like Stephen A Smith and Chris Broussard would be all over it, calling the Astros racists. Crane wasn’t stupid when he hired Dana Brown. That should silence the race baiters. I say fire Dusty and move on.

Hinch made a really dumb move. He didn’t stop the cheating. Of course he’s a better manager than Dusty.

Nobody fires a manager after a WS win.....less than half the season in...and the team is still in the playoff hunt. You are an idiot. Just like the others. Dusty didn't cause the injuries. That is the #1 reason for this team being where it is.

You are nothing but a Dusty fluffer. I pay you no mind whatsoever. You are probably the dumbest poster on this site. Now run along.

The starting pitching hasn't been the issue. The pen and offense has been. If you can't see how Dusty is absolutely out of his mind, then I don't know what to say. Montero several times alone. Julks, Diaz. It's not supposed to be this hard. Play your best options consistently, play you best options out of the pen as much as you can. Stop making grade school lineups. Team would be with the Rangers right now.

Fire this mf sooner rather than later or mail it in. Either way he is going to be fired, if not now then next year or for sure the year after. He got his ring, should have retired. It's going to be embarrassingly bad if we wait. WHY DIDNT HE RETIRE????

I know you don’t. It’s weird. One minute you are commiserating about Dusty’s failures and incompetence with us and the next minute you are defending him. I dunno. Your inconsistencies are strange. Like how you turned on us about McCormick earlier. It’s hard to make sense of it.

He isn't inconsistent, he's just pragmatic.

I also wished Dusty had retired, disagree with tons of his moves, and know we aren't going to fire him.

Some people think the more nonsensible their position, the bigger the fan they appear to be; others are not so insecure.

That Chas post was a joke, I guess not a good one, but lighten up. Again, I've talked up Chas for quite a while. Also, your use of the word "us" is kind of weird.

Do please show me where I've defended Dusty as a regular season manager. I'll hang up and listen.
