I agree. Not worried at all about this team. 7 straight ALCS's means these players know how long the season is and all they want to do is play in the post season. This team will win enough games to get there and they know it. It's how they play, always a month or so that is horrible (usually August). Perhaps it's happening in June to garner a new bat and pitcher at the trade deadline. Either way, I'm not gonna sweat any game until September
In past seasons a game like this would have motivated the Astros. I guess we will see how they will respond tomorrow.
We would've lost in extra innings anyway. That balk call saved some time and extra pissed off energy.
I genuinely wonder how much locker room leadership left with Yuli. I'm not saying we should've resigned him.....but he would've only been 2 or 3 million. Dusty is playing Dubon at 1st who has never played there and we're calling up other fringe players like Madris, Kessinger.....
We've been really good at losing games this season. I'm honestly surprised we're still over .500 at this point.
He broke, "twitched", his leg before he stepped off the rubber. He does this all the time, there was no "intent to deceive the runner", but it's a textbook balk.
Angels 23-0 in the 4th inning... @Coors Field 3 consecutive HRs on 3 consecutive pitches Every batter already has 5 PAs
