Yeah as the year has gone on Pena has become more and more disappointing. Wasn't expecting him to pick up where he left off in the postseason but the team needs him to be a better player than he has been this year. So many on this team are having a down year.
Offense struggling, 3 hits last night, let's put a career .177 hitter with a 500 ops in as the designated hitter.....
Every time he takes Maldy out of the lineup, he replaces him with another automatic out. Bligh Madris is starting at DH? What?! HAHA Bligh has 8 hits in his last 29 games. Chas is hitting .296 over his last 15. Dusty is a troll. When you're sitting in 1st place, it's a lot easier to overlook his ridiculous decision making. Not so much when you're struggling. Dana and Crane cannot be liking this. There's no reason to panic or anything this early in the season, but I'd still like to see some kind of sense of urgency out of Dusty to get things turned around. He seems satisfied with giving games away. FIRE DUSTY!
sigh........ baker afer winning one WS: "Let's go win another one!" no you're not. you ain't winning shiz.
it's no longer early in the season. season is approaching half way. if the team doesn't go on a 2 10 games winning streak, they ain't winning shiz.
I was not trying to say it's early in the season. What I meant is that it's not time to panic at the halfway point, especially sitting in a WC spot.
you know, when someone make a debut you would feel the excitement and the anticipation. for example, you would end the sentence with an exclamation point or emojis. whatever the young folks do on social media. this post right here just scream mid. hey, look. someone is making their debut. you probably never heard of him. end sentence with period. lol. smh so freaking depressing man.
If only he had a consistent spot in the batting order to get comfortable with.... Maybe one where he has had success in the past with?
And yet he's putting up identical numbers that he did last year. He had an amazing playoffs... and he will continue to have streaks like that both this season and in his career.
