Unless this was deepfake audio, can't trust anything these days.

 

I don't understand why he'd end it. He crossed Putin and he can probably expect to die within the year. Seems like he went all-in and is stopping?

 

Now I'm seeing reports that Prighozin says he accepted no peace agreement.

This may be pure Russian propaganda.


Even if Prighozin chooses peace, he's dead. He knows this. What's the point of brokering a deal lead by another country?



Edit: it's being reported that the peace agreement is real, from what I can tell. I'm all sorts of confused. None of this makes sense.

Putin has never looked weaker. At least there’s that. I don’t see how he can accept any agreement after what he said earlier today.
