How about people that say "With all due respect" just before they abuse someone more important then them. I mean, think about it. Have you ever heard someone say "With all due respect" who hasnt gone on to abuse the person they are talking to! There was a PRIZE idiot on the news in Sydney today. He had property over looking a view of the coast. He sold a portion of it infront of his already contructed how and the view. The house that was built on the property he sold was something like 2 feet taller then the idiot wanted and it cuts off quite a bit of his view. So he has spent the last 15 years going to court trying to get the hows infront of his demolished. The idiot in question said he has lost his freidns, his job and is on the verge of going bankrupt because of it but "I will never quit!" he said. Now here is the bexst part... The council he is suing had offered to buy his how for $1,000,000 and allow him to live there FOR FREE untill such time as he decides to move. He refuses to take up the offer on principal (That being, he is an idiot!). Anyway he has painted all these "Vote No For Council" and aother similar stupid stuff on his houseleaving not a square inch off it untouched by his moronic stance. His care has a coffin on it which also has a slogan againt the council on it. He was the biggest idiot I saw today... Some other people I saw on TV today were making houses out of shipping containers. These things are big enough for a couch.....maybe a small table,a picture on the wall and carpet. Thats it! The Idiot said "They would be great for people because you could have your house anywhere. You could even fly it in my choper to anywhere in the world. You could live on the alps if you wanted". Idiots!

A diagnonal line is still a straight line, and is actually the shortest route possible assuming they are walking directly from an exit to their vehicle or vice versa.
People who "block the box". Those morons who get caught in an intersection at a red light. If aren't absolutely positive that you can make it don't even try it. People who pull out in front of you when no one is behind you, or pull out in front of you on a multi-lane street when the other lane is empty. People cruising in the left most lane on a highway. This is called a PASINNG LANE, and people in Houston don't seem to understand it. You don't drive the speed limit and just stay there. You only use it for passing other vehicles, then you return to the normal lanes. People who box others driving side by side at the same speed. If you're holding up traffic, move to one lane. Not only are you putting yourself in danger by not giving yourself an out, you're making it dangerous for eveyone else by disrupting the flow of traffic. People who don't know it's legal to turn left on red on a one way street. You don't have to wait for a green light!
I work at T-mobile and there is a huge sign behind me that says T-mobile and people come up and ask if we sell sprint phones. I have never understood if people were just illiterate or lazy but come on! It says T freakin' mobile!!!
Nothing infuriates me more than this. It takes everything I have (and it is something I am trying to correct) not to go off on these people.
This is definitely the worst one for me. It seems like every time someone pulls out and cuts me off I look in my rear view and see that nobody is behind me. Same goes for the times that there are empty lanes next to me, but for some reason they pick mine. I'd have to say the only thing worse than this is smoking. Go ahead and pay money to kill yourself, litter, stink up everything around you, but don't kill me in the process! I hate that so much, it just infuriates me. I try to avoid it wherever I go, but sometimes it just can't be avoided. Pugs
First, second hand smoke is the biggest farce in the entire world! Show me proof! These idiots keep piling on and on and on, and it is absurd and a bunch of lies. You don't like the smell? That's fine, and I'll move away, but I swear, if someone comes up and says it is killing them, I'll just start blowing it right at you. Second, The left lane on a freeway is for passing? That again, is fine if you are going close to the speed limit. I always travel 8-10 miles over the posted limit, so I stay in the left lane. If you come up behind me on 610 doing 90 and expect me to move because you are driving like an idiot, you are sorely mistaken.
I'm the same way. I always go 10-20 mph over the speed limit and if I'm doing that and you get on my ass don't expect me to move over. Actually, you can expect to hit your brakes because I'm going to just take my foot off the gas and slow down until you get into the next lane and then I'm off. Pugs
Wow, assholes like you are why people cannot get along. Second hand smoke is worse than smoking a cigarette because it is unfiltered. If you want to kill yourself, have fun but I dont want to smell it, I dont want to breathe it, and yes it will kill me. It is an incredibly disgusting habit. If I asked you to not do that around me and you blew it in my face, I would kick your ass. If you are driving in the left hand lane and someone comes up on your ass, GET OUT OF THE ****ING WAY! I dont care how fast you think you are going, you arent going fast enough. People like you are why there is road rage. I'm pissed off thinking about it and I'm not even in the car.
Agree and disagree.... Second hand smoke is BS, unless of course you are someone forced to live in a smokers house. Then I could see the constant smoke having ill-effects on the non-smokers health. Ie. children forced to live with their smoking parents having diminished lung capacity later in life. But out at a resturaunt or outside even STFU it ain't gonna hurt you in the least, the air we breath should be your real concern. I'm a reformed smoker and this gov. propaganda/brainwashing of the public is ridiculous. I hate the smell of them now unless I'm drinking when I will smoke but to think they are affecting my health is just stupid. As for you doing 65-70 in the fast lane try moving over one lane and you'll see that the rest of the world is doing it too. If I want to do 80 I shouldn't have to worry about dodging you grandpa. I try not to drive in the far left lane whenever possible because it is for passing, in fact most of the time I have no problem doing 80 in the lane next to the left lane. But when I do need to get over there I don't need you clogging things up because you still think 72 is MOVING. Try getting out of that rut you're in and notice that everyone to your right is doing 75 as well.
You need to get over yourself, MB. Speeders do not deserve my respect or attention on the inner loop in Houston. If you really think second hand smoke kills you over any of the other toxins in our air, you're simply not paying attention. Again, if it bothers you because you don't like the smell of it, fine. I'm just saying don't expect a positive response if you go up to a smoker and say that it is killing you. It is a fairly r****ded response.
I end up driving in the left lane a lot of the time when I drive up to Amarillo, but if someone starts coming up behind me, I'll always get out of the way when I can. What I don't like is when I'm passing someone and someone behind me tailgates while I'm passing. I also dislike when someone flies past me and then slows down once in front of me, requiring me to then change lanes and pass them again. Which often leads to my second peeve, when you get in the other lane and start passing and the person that was going to slow a second ago decides to speed up, making it impossible for you to pass them (until you fall back into line behind them, of course). The rules of the passing lane don't really apply as much in the city, though. There's not enough room on the highway to leave one lane empty (heck, I don't think we should waste space on the HOV lane) a lot of the time. But I still try to get out of people's way if they want to go faster than I'm going. As for smoking, the scientific data may not back up the cancer connection, but it's still quite often annoying to smell someone else's smoke when you're trying to eat (by the same token, those trophy wives who wear ten gallons of perfume should have a separate section, too).
It's easy to assume you would be the one kicking my ass. Like I said earlier the rare whiff of second smoke is not going to hurt you, try laying off the smoking is fowl commercials and think for yourself for a change. Does it stink yes, but when you make someone feel like they are killer of those around them don't expect a bad response.
SSG: On the driving, if we are on the same road anywhere other than in the city, I'll agree. But 610 North and I-45 North converge on the left side of the freeway. I ain't moving because I'll miss my exit. Anything inside the loop doesn't have a passing lane.
I wouldnt specifically go to someone and say, "Hey man, you're killing me with your smoke." But to say that it does nothing is bull****. I grew up with a smoking parent and now I have asthma. When I am around smoke it flares it up pretty bad. You cant tell me that smoking is bad for you but second hand smoke is ok. Thats horse****.
