He went 20. No problem with the pick.

Just like Tari, Whitmore is going to make people regret passing on him.

I mean it does make sense if they are worried about his knee cartilage long term. But like as many have said its a no brainer at 20 to take that risk compared to pick 4.

He has that Trevor Ariza-like flat affect, which might've looked like indifference to interviewers or workout observers. Hopefully there's some concealed junkyard dog in him for Udoka to unleash,

I think Cam Whitmore Ignored Teams and Didn't want to workout for them and probably showed up late if he went to a workout.

    Unprofessional to other Teams.

But with the Rockets he talked with Rafael Stone and Rafael enjoyed talking to Cam.

Givony is a smart man, not only do I now not like Whitmore.... I hate him...

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...aft-winners-losers-surprises-bold-predictions

Givony: Alperen Sengun has a chance to be rookie of the year, or at least put up the type of numbers that will put him firmly in the conversation. Sengun was the most productive 18-year-old prospect in European basketball history, winning MVP of the strong Turkish league by scoring with incredible efficiency and being a playmaker defensively, while inhaling rebounds and making an impact as a passer. Sengun will likely walk into 25-30 minutes a game for Houston, and there's no reason to think he won't put up big numbers, even if that will likely come mostly in losing efforts with an overmatched Houston team.

Brandon Roy was Special, but had bad knees as a Prospect shortening his Career.

Rockets really wanted Brandon Roy back then.

Most teams just overthought. Every player has a price. You don't want to pay VanVleet the max, but at around 25m a year he could be a steal. Same as draft, Whitmore may not worth the top 10 picks, but at 20, it's a steal no matter eventually it works out or not.
