Keep in mind the "young players in diapers" were set up for failure. How is this a legit take at all?

I'd bet a lot of money that Stone keeps his job if the Rockets go from 22 wins to 41 wins next year.

LMAO, Houston probably offered the #4 for Siakim and he killed it, saving them from themselves.

I wish we can acquire Capela. He isn't required by the Raptors. I know it's going to be tough to pull it off.

That would round out a killer summer, but did they really pay Londale $8m to be a 3rd string C? I don't think so. Wish we hadn't panicked on Londale but they already did. Would have loved to get Capela for Tyty, Garuba, Tate and a first. That would have shaved another $10m off their salary which is who knows how much in LT dollars.

OTOH, I'm so excited about the possibility that Sengun and Londale could have respectable 3pt shots next season. Sengun can run offense or PnR too, so he's not a spacing issue if there's a decent offense in place. You know how long it's been since we've had 5-out spacing? That's going to be incredible for Green. Expect a significant bump in TS% via more efficient finishing at the rim - which will in turn force defenders to give him more space on 3pt shots.

Green was beating his man easily most of last season, the biggest issue for him on offense was - although he's not elite at rim finishing - he faced an excessive number of teammates and defenders in the paint all the time. It was also a big issue that passes were often coming to him quite late in the clock when the opponent defense was set. Doubt that will be an issue anymore.

Noel, Bamba, Biyombo, Dieng, Dedmon, Ibaka and Plumlee still available too. Get someone cheap who can compete with Londale for backup C minutes. Ibaka is interesting - wouldn't require many minutes, has 3pt range and is a former champion.

I believe - including Amen and Cam - we still have 2 roster spots. Feel like they will be filled by vets too.

Daryl Morey is famous for preferring ping pong balls for games on a table rather than rookies.
