Yet trump still has fans. Millions of Americans across the country. A minority, to be sure, but that they exist in such numbers is incredible. How can they be so ignorant of what the man is? A liar without peer. A conman of truly dangerous proportions. A creature loyal only unto himself and yet they love him. He is a national sickness that has spread to infect large areas of America. We see it in Florida, in Texas, where bigoted governors with pliant legislatures work their will. trump's spawned imitators. DeSantis and Abbott. There are many others as well, busy competing in their extremism. Busy attacking minorities, and the smaller the minority's numbers, the less able they are to defend themselves, the more vicious the attacks. Imitating trump, they attack the weak. When they are verbally attacked in turn, they feign astonishment, declaring their innocence while redoubling their assaults. America can be slow to recognize danger when it confronts her. She needs to open her eyes. It's there.
Not sure this does anything but appease trump, and his maga zealots. But the petty vindictiveness of this vote, while a republican House member literally lied his way into his seat... just reflects this current republican party. Schiff probably will win a Senate seat as a result.
I agree with not wishing harm on anyone. What I find hypocritical though is how Cruz didn't get outraged like this when Trump supporters threatened to hang Mike Pence. He also didn't show this outrage when Kari Lake said... “If you want to get to President Trump, you’re going to have to go through me, and you’re going to have to go through 75 million Americans just like me. “And I’m going to tell you, most of us are card-carrying members of the NRA [National Rifle Association].
